It became scary as Chinese nationals would turn against their own, and of course them entering PH illegally as well. But it was such a big business.. bonuses for employees were really big by local standards. However, with the change in government there, you’d never know how or when a casino would open or even last.

Perhaps that’s why his reaction when he was first told that they’d have an assignment abroad, he was either shocked, excited, scared?! 😂🤣

Online gambling in Ph was already booming as early as 2012. Employees were from the mainland and SEA countries. Their offices were located in one of the prominent business districts. Treatment of employees at that time were really good since their parties were lavish i.e. venues, raffle prizes, salaries were competitive even for the locals. . But at some point the cops started raiding other POGO business as well. I guess from then on it went downhill. I went back to the US so I only heard bits and pieces from the news. Who would have known that after 10 years, this case would have a drama based on it as this business became abused. Gambling is never good anyway especially when it’s not properly regulated.

I got the same vibes as well after watching 15-16.

Watched her review/ rant since I was waiting for it. She’s got a point with her reviews on the technical side. Acting wise she praised the cast so I guess it was balanced. What irks me are the comments from Reba’s antis saying that other actresses have left her behind and this is supposed to be a transitional drama for her. Makes me want to argue but what’s the use. Reba doesn’t need to prove herself to them anyway. For as long as she’s open to continuously improving, herself and trying out different roles, I’m fine with that. And not claiming she’s better than her seniors just proves that despite a successful 10 year career, she remains down to earth.

Episode 14 airplane scene is melting my cp heart for Ahni and capt.He. White cab has a Manila to any point of Luzon mark. Then you e got a mixture of races as it’s people. Is country F a newly established country that we don’t know of? This is kinda stupid on the writing part. Which I’m sure will be picked on by critics especially of Reba’s. However, as always, she owns every character she plays. Just these details can ruin a good drama.
