The Dad might love her a lot, but the guy has no clue what's going on with her. He expects her to be all grown up and lets her leave the house bc she's angry, even though she doesn't have a job or money (at the beginning) but now, he can't give her the choice to decide what to do about her mother? Even if she's angry and doesn't forgive her mother, shouldn't it be her decision? She's 27, not a kid.
