I does not make much sense for her to leave like that and then, in ep. 6 when she realizes who Mr. Park is, she cries like she's hurting so much.

And I find it absurd how Wang Dae-ran thinks it's ok to be this selfish and entitled. I really dislike her most of the times...though not as much as Yeon-shil or Sa-ra's mom.

Hahahahha I think these long dramas are Korean Telenovelas 😅 maybe that’s why I like them so much more than the shorter series. I’m a huge telenovela fan.

Well, I agree with what you wrote. I also think that the marriage between Dad and Stepmother won't survive. And you pointing out the problems other couples would have due to their relation is actually something I also thought about. Usually, we see how conservative and how sensitive it is in Korea when it comes to family registry and surnames.

And I also think the reason she didn't approach when she returned the first time was bc she thought they were happy. I think that is a sign of her wanting her daughter to be happy, even when she wasn't.

I kind of don't like to think about her "saving" Mr. Park. I think she offered a deal that benefited both of them. So, in a way, they helped each other at the time.

I am wondering just how long she was in the hospital. Maybe that's why she took so long to come back. In the flashback, we see her come back when DD was like 8?

I have a problem with believing Anna Kim left bc she didn't want her daughter. I feel there's more. It doesn't make sense that she didn't want her child then, but is so invested in trying to help her now. At least, it doesn't seem like the usual behavior from mothers in kdramas when they leave their families.

And the fact that the step mother stayed doesn't mean she's the better option for DD or her father. At least imo.

Still, both women have to grow.

And you're right, DD is going to be devasted an angry when she finds out her mom is Anna K. She has every right to feel like that.
