Being confident and strong woman doesn't mean she'll trample on others. And if later on they try to give some pitiful past as an excuse it would be worse. If she was cruel to only people who had hurt or belittled her, it would be reasonable but she's cruel and harsh on everyone around her. She was unbelievably cruel to potential rape victim. I know she has to win the case for her client but threatening someone is wrong no matter what. Maybe the victim was lying but she didn't know what the truth actually was. She drove someone to suicide and that's the point I hated the character so much.
That female student of hers who was molested, instead of saying kind words or try to understand her, she outright said that the student should have just kept her mouth shut and endured it. I agree that later on she helped that student get justice but that doesn't justify how she treated her. If I help you, it doesn't mean I can be absolutely harsh towards you.
And if she was going to help anyway then why was she being so rude and cruel to her in the first place. She could have given her advice without breaking her confidence. It shows that in past she was a just lawyer, but she's not anymore. Whatever changed her isn't justifiable anymore. And it makes her just like all those people in power, she's not a badass protagonist. She's just self obsessed person. I hated her character so much.
I'm not saying she should be like a hero or something but she could at least be a decent human being. I know she's doing her job but so are million of people, not everyone is taking advantage of other's weakness. And if that's how her character is going to be I just can't watch anymore. No matter what character development they go through, it won't erase all that she had done.

The best role in the show was of Namkoong Min but the story seemed a bit rushed. The villain had too many disadvantages in this story yet they had such a hard time catching him.
