It was good and I am not trying to knock on the rating that it got but.. what did i just watch??? LOLL I just feel like i go hit by a bus, especially with that last EP (Man went from almost being shot to operating in a war zone to back home, happily married under a new name. All i could think while watching, was why? LOL was it easier to join a war then communicate. Wasn't miscommunication the reason for half the plot?? This could have easily been a 16-20 episode drama and it would still be a really good watching.

She shouldn’t star in a romantic drama period. She’s much better in other genres as long as she doesn’t…
I wouldn't say that the chemistry is off, a big factor is the writing behind her characters. The industry just seems to see her looks and jumps to the assumption that her looks to drive the character. Essentially writing a cringy mess for her to act in. That works well for many people but she always looks like she's in a cage (the cage being her character).

Because they start a K drama with the hope of a fluffy romance. Korean and Chinese drama series has more to offer…
But it was never marketed as a fluffy romance. The synopsis and the genre tags don't paint a fluffy romance either.

I really don't get people. Sometimes, we as fans, can be so picky. I mean, a 7.9? Really? I get it, it was short…
Also, i can tell Seo Hyun Jin really put so much effort into this. She lost so much weight from "you are my spring" to now this. if you are a fan of her, you will love this. It may not have the 16 episodes of romance like other works but it is just as special.

I really don't get people. Sometimes, we as fans, can be so picky. I mean, a 7.9? Really? I get it, it was short and sometimes the back and forth between the timeline might have been unorthodox, but this was a great drama with some great acting. Lets love things when they are good before we forget about these gems entirely. this deserves a 8.2 at least. Loved it for the suspense and romance that felt mature and yet sometimes childish (all in good ways). Give it a try, i promise you'll be hooked.

it started off pretty slow but I’ve grown to fall in love with this drama and its characters. I will cherish the memories of this drama as I have cherished the memories of dramas that have come before it. for me this is a solid 8.6/10. Something calming and slow enough to make it enjoyable but not enough where it leaves a bad taste in your heart.

It's astounding how many people are criticizing this drama; I absolutely adored it. It was refreshing to see a departure from the typical and monotonous narrative arc that other dramas employ to play it "safe." Typically, by the midpoint, most dramas have laid the groundwork for the "getting to know each other" phase, and the romance starts to flourish, only for a twist to disrupt the plot three-quarters of the way through. Then, the last two episodes either tie everything up neatly or leave a sorrowful mess. However, "Queen of Tears" took a different path. From Episode 1, it was evident that both love and despair were present. The acting was superb, and the characters were more than mere pawns for the plot. Each had their own struggles and stories, making the world feel authentic, rather than existing solely to support the male lead (ML) and female lead (FL). At times, it was hilarious, and many tears were shed while watching this drama. I'm uncertain if those who waited for the episodes to be released experienced the same level of suspense, but those I spoke with who followed along felt a strong desire for more. It was a wonderful journey that truly mirrored life. Nothing in life ever goes exactly as planned, and this drama teaches us that it's okay. Many believe that it's the journey in life that matters, while others focus on the destination. "Queen of Tears" demonstrated that the people we share our experiences with also hold significant importance. The love between the ML and FL in the drama is something I can only aspire to have in real life—to have someone for whom I am willing to break a car window is indeed a beautiful notion. I encourage those who are watching this for the first time to stock up on tissues; it's going to be a fantastic yet tearful journey with a gentle conclusion. I guess it truly plays into the title of the drama. Please enjoy it and show your love and support for the drama, the cast, and everyone involved.
