I'm looking forward to Cxx's Love When The Stars Fall. He'd been absent from ancient costume drama for many years. LWTSF is like a comeback. Plus this time his co star is Lilandi.
Both were acting students from Central Academy of Drama. Cxx was top student of year 14, while LLD was 2nd top student of year 18. Their acting won't be bad.

But sometimes small production can give me a huge surprise such as fall in love.

I have a lot of requirements for dramas. Some may have good production but acting skills can't be watched. 😌 Have you seen Lang Ya Bang by HuGe? This one meets my requirements.

Watching Cxx's plays is pleasure to me. He's very attentive to details. (Such as how people in that era smoked; they didn't use index and middle finger to hold the cigarette, but use the whole palm to cover the cigarette light. The use of index and middle fingers came after Marlbolo did marketing in China, which was decades after that). He performed an idol drama with the senses of literature drama.

In China, there are basically 2 types of actors; idol and actor. Idol are all rounder, they can film, can dance , can sing, can sell products etc. While the other type will only make films as their jobs. ChenXingxu is the latter type. (This type doesn't sell lifestyles. Outside the plays, they will be unknown. They don't have support club either.) it's just that his face is pretty, people mistook him for idols and compared him with other idols, which is like apples and oranges. 😅

I don't know how many times I've watched this drama. I can't move on .

If you want to watch idol dramas with acting skills. This one won't disappoint you.

Everything has its own cost. Better marketing,
or always on hot search cost the stars private life. 😅 You know those netizen....
Some actors/actresses are more comfortable with low key lives.

Maybe you can check Zhangwanyi. This actor is also handsome in costume and has explosive acting. Same style as Cxx's.

I mean in China, they sold themselves as the saddest drama on earth. I didn't feel it's sad anyway. Drama party threw the stone on their feet. 😌 (I'm also GMP fans, but this route they created by themselves)

GMP sells miserable so much it lost potential audience. Lol

LCY is his comfort zone.

If ML is another LCY2.0. despite of the ending. possibility that he will pick it will drop to almost 0. 😅 (From my understanding of him)

Not really romantic. Only GMP and FIL are considered as romantic drama. Other dramas he had played, love was just an event happened in life, not the core value of the shows.

I didn't feel offended. It's quite normal. After all he rarely plays romantic dramas. 😅

I'm cxx fans 😉. Seeing someone is not sure about his performance so I just wanted to tell them not to worry too much because it's just a rumor and he has a few more drama rumors as well. 😂
