The FL finally gets a character in ep20
Since the plot is about travelling back in time, I figured someone has to die in the end for her to return back. So as usual in the past realm its a sad ending but they reunite in the modern world. The plot for the first 20 episodes was really dragged on for very long. At times there were so many episodes of him going out to "work" and she just waits for him doing nothing all day. So its a morning scene and then immediately cut to night. My understanding of the character is that she thinks she died and is living her afterlife so she is lazy and doesnt want to do anything. At the start it was funny and okay but dragging on the same character without much development for so long became a bit dry. Even after they got together, I was shocked she didnt want to train her powers in case she needed to protect him.
But then in the second half of the drama through a incident finally here character changes and is much more interesting. The ML to me was fine, I feel Chen Feiyu acted his character well as well.
Regarding the plot, it wasnt very interesting and I found myself mostly skipping parts of the villain. I enjoyed the demon era and mortal world realms but I feel like they should have introduced it earlier in the drama.
The CP romance was carrying the show(?) They had good chemistry and I liked some of the lines said by the ML.
Overall its a decent watch but could have been better in the development of characters!

the plot could not be saved
To be honest, I started this without much expectations so after watching the first 1~3 episodes I was actually interested to see where this goes. But really even at episode 10 it was going nowhere only in circles…there was no progression to the story and the writing was really bad. To the extent where policemen were as good as regular citizens they had no upper hand at all.The crime part of this drama is practically nothing. There isn’t any exciting mystery to solve. Halfway through the drama, it changes to a business orientated show where suddenly everyone is fighting for the business.
The reveal of the villain was build up in a very obvious way so there wasn’t anything shocking (sad…cause i felt like they could have executed that portion in a much better way). There were wayyyy to many side characters I couldn’t even keep track of who is who because they tend to use nicknames instead of full names.
I watched this for Ding Yuxi, so his acting made me push through till the end. But it’s not a drama I would recommend >< It was a good challenge and interesting genre to take on which could have excelled if the writing was good.

did not live up to expectations...
When I first watched episodes 1 to 4 I was shocked because based on the budget and story expectations I had, the plot was cliche and there was nothing engaging...given the deep plots introduced early in the drama I thought those will be the focus point for the drama. But eventually the plot just became messy because they added every single plot possible inside without giving proper closure to some open plots.Plenty of loopholes, still dont understand how not a single family member went with her to germany for such an important surgery. The car crash and the kidnap and the getting s**t and stuff was so redundant to be honest. The villain's story just ended abruptly after dragging it for 16 episodes....the main plots were barely discussed, why did he want to divorce, why was she so cold to him.
Yes needless to say the acting and the osts are really good, but sometimes if the plot is so obviously not linking, it removes the relatability from the drama making it harder to understand the characters. For example, first half of the drama even though she had few months to live she focused so hard on getting into the trillion group (disregarding her health), the minute she just lost her company overnight suddenly all her desires disappeared??? literally the only person who was fighting back was the aunt. Even the family, how can a director and CEO of such a big company know nothing on how to handle the situation and they just dumped everything on hyunwoo to solve....
anyway i really tried to find why this was so hyped but really it is way too overrated and overhyped.

smarts leads, easy plot, amazing chemistry
This was actually my first Liu Yuning drama and I was shocked cause I felt like he acted really well for his role. I was equally shocked by Song Zuer, they were really good. They get married almost immediately but although they are enemies they still look out for each other. So the first few episodes you really experience the haters to lovers kind of situation. Lady Qiao (manman) is a smart and independent female lead. She is definitely not the kind that gets bullied on enemy ground. She can defend and stand up for herself which I loved it made her character very interesting. Wei Shao is also equally smart and charismatic making them a really good pair. Even though he doesnt like his wife he will still respect and protect her at times. Thats how they eventually fall for each other. Towards the end where the romance is more developed it was shocking like their chemistry was amazing. So for the leads I really enjoyed watching them! They were cute and fun.Now for the side characters...I am glad the side characters in this drama are a handful. They didnt keep introducing new people which makes the plot confusing but instead built a story around the existing people. They showed more scenes about their friendships and really fun moments. The comedy was really enjoyable with the witty and sudden jokes. The characters and their acting really made this drama stand out. The only characters i didnt really like were her cousin and bizhi...
Regarding the villain, we cant say there is only one villain it was more like just multiple greedy people who wanted to always attack them someway or the other. Sometimes the villains were females out to break up the marriage and in other cases there were wars. Although I did not really enjoy the final war scene. It was supposed to give a satisfying feeling but it felt really rushed (as usual in cdramas) and it felt a bit messy in comparison to the careful plans which was always mentioned in the drama. The time jumps in the last eps were like every min is a month or something. So yea...that part was really rushed.
Its a happy ending if anyone is wondering. The ending is cute.
For many weeks I could not find any cdrama interesting after flourished peony but when i started this it hooked me back in. There is a chance i might rewatch this in the future for the chemistry between the leads!

heads up not a disaster movie...
The title of the movie can be quite misleading cause I thought it was a survival disaster movie. However, suddenly they start introducing the sci-fi elements which just throws it off pace....my focus was on the flood but now the story is completely different and the flood becomes redundant.*Spoilers ahead*
Basically the story is in a way showing what AI deep learning/training looks like. The FL is training AI children to make an emotional connection through the repeated trainings. This is what the company believes will save mankind. Just as how she needs to make a child she also needs to make a mother. The training scenario given to the mother was finding her lost child in the middle of the flood. How the AI trains is situational training basically (something like supervised learning). So they made this concept into a movie.
Hence the process of finding her son in the flood just loops and loops with different scenarios until they finally succeed.
The story was not strong enough for me to find any emotional bond with the characters. So this might not be everyone's cup of tea!

I enjoyed watching this drama as it kept me engaged through out the 12eps. The sudden comedic moments blended in with some really serious moments balanced the experience for the viewers. Although the last few episodes were quite confusing and written in a way to drive for the happy ending, by tricking viewers into thinking its a sad ending...., i feel the build up in the front episodes were still done pretty well. Especially when bongsu showed up the whole drama took a switch! I didnt think he was going to be a likable ghost haha but it really reminded me of the "Kill me Heal me" Shin segi days where its sad to let the evil ghost disappear as well.
I feel both Cho Yihyun and Choo Youngwoo played their roles really well. Seongah is a really confident person when she is working but in the school she tends to be more timid so this was shown very clearly. Similarly the difference between Gyeonu and Bongsu was so drastic that im surprised his friends didnt think it was weird...
Ah! what i liked was finally a school drama with a normal classroom. There was a case of bullying but it was from a different school. I liked the way that was resolved as well. But most of the classmates were all friends and there wasnt any hateful character.
Our second male lead :(( the biggest green flag....he is so supportive and helpful although he knows he has no luck...but still so sweet...
Yeomhwa was not really a smart villain, she does stuff with no proper plan in mind...so most of the time she is interrupted or something goes wrong which makes it even more messy. I dont even think she deserved any redemption arc.
Regarding the plot, the shaman, spells, amulets and deities and everything was interesting and u kinda just have to take it as it is. However, seeing the ending made me realise they closed the main topic too fast and could have used more time from the earlier episodes for the build up. So although it was a very happy ending, it didnt really feel satisfying or touching....

this show had 2 sides...truly
The concept of having the show with your sibling was very refreshing and it was fun to guess who is whose family in the first few episodes. We could also clearly see all the different types of relationships siblings can have so it was interesting to watch. In the episodes they filmed in korea, most of them were working so the time they had to go on dates were limited, however in the second half when they went singapore they have alot of time.Throughout the show there were so many changes in my feelings as an audience as well because of the twists. Seriously something we would have never thought they would do suddenly happens and everyone is just left confused and shocked.
The episodes are really long and i watched this show weekly, i feel the producers made the show exciting to watch because sometimes the cast were tested and restricted on who they could go on dates with. I was also glad the show did not only focus on the romance but showed us many moments of the siblings and how they help each other. Having a family member there to support you probably was the biggest strength the cast had because you could tell it was really hard on them.
i dont want to reveal much because you really have to watch from the start to feel the betrayal all the watchers felt haha

reminds me of dramas from 2013 era
Can I just say the starting episodes of this drama were really good. I was hooked and emotional and the story was so nice. It began with Seo Kijoo a ghost photographer helping to solve the last wishes of ghosts who are leaving this world. He has 2 assistants and their team is very funny and cute.I would say the first half of the drama was good but I felt like this drama would have been the best if it ended in 12 episodes. Beyond the halfway point the writer stopped the plot revolving solving of the issues but instead the focus was on one main issue.
Once the ghost issue was resolved now the writer had to think of a way to resolve the curse so the drama continued longer to fit the 16 episodes. But i feel the pacing would have been nicer if it was faster, as there were quite alot of filler scenes towards the end.
Romance was also good at the start but gradually it lost the chemistry although all the kiss scenes were good but somehow the initial fluttering moments were nicer to watch.
Overall it was still a decent drama but the production did make it feel like it was a show from 8-10 years ago. Oh! but the OST was beautiful.

hmm mixed feelings...
For me unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations I had. I am originally not like a full on fan of hosplay as well but I did enjoy that drama cause the characters were fun and interesting. However in this drama which follows a similar concept, it was really hard to find likable characters. At the end of the drama the characters I like the most were Nam Kyung and Jaeil. Wah sorry but the leads made like no impact to me. I could barely relate to them and Yi young's story was just boring. I heard there was alot of heat about the romance to be honest they could have just continued without the romance plot. Both "couples" even the one hinted in the last eps felt very forced...Felt yi young's character was very awkward...so yea other than the professors i only found 2 residents likable...
Not sure why but the stories this time were not very emotional, or maybe because there were just too many people it became hard to get attached to one storyline. There were quite alot of scenes showing the stressful lives of residents. Also because everything was centered to one department only, after awhile it became boring...
I feel like it really depends on people's taste, some prefer the slice of life kind of slow pace drama while some prefer more intense fast pace kind. I guess im just the latter. I watched almost all the episodes together so yea it definitely made me wanna watch in x2 speed cause it was so long and quite slow paced. Didnt find the funny scenes funny as well...
Its still a decent drama! just not my style...

started with something good and then....?
Being a huge fan for Reset I was really excited to watch this one as it had a very similar theme. The intro scenes were really strong showing us how the loop system works and all the rules involved. Then it moved on to show how it first began and how Ding Qi got used to having the loop. This set a promising foundation for the plot.Initially I assumed this drama will have multiple cases along side the main plot making it more interesting however, somewhere around ep 3/4 once the Moma case begins the entire drama until ep 16 is just one case. Because there were still so many episodes left it needs to be planned in a really good way to keep it exciting and not seem too draggy.
However, the plot was revealed in a very unsatisfying manner and lot of it was very predictable. Especially since it was about medical trials the plot always goes in the same direction.
!!! SPOILERS (not very big) !!!!
The plot twists werent the ones that shocked me...what shocked me was that the lab rat was experience the looping effect as well. The fact that they made the reason for the loop a medical drug just didnt make sense to me...and she even managed to make a antidote for it. Its like she can control the time space. This part was kinda illogical.
Now romance, nothing much...very forced. I didnt feel anything watching the 2 of them. One of the kiss scenes was terrible. Very bad timing, poor bgm and just not suited for the situation. Second kiss scene was better but for this drama romance is like 2%.
Basically for the plot u cant think about it logically. If you are Bai Jing Ting fan then u will enjoy this, his fight scenes and acting is good. But if you are here for the crime plot then no...not recommended...

they perfectly interpreted the title of the drama
the storyline and the direction was written in a really engaging manner. The pacing is good and not too slow. The reveal of elements throughout the episodes is showcased in a very smooth manner. After a few episodes you start to see a pattern and might predict some plots but they still manage to surprise you with some hidden connections."what goes around come around" really summarises this drama well. Many veteran actors and each one of them did really good. The drama has gore! Alot of it actually but its not a scary drama. I would same more crime than thriller. Overall its been a while since I saw a decent thriller/crime drama. So I would say this was a good binge!
The drama being 6eps was just perfect not draggy and straight to the point.

Needless to say one of the most clean and refreshing drama of 2024!
I highly recommend this show. The filming, acting, osts, plot lines are all tied so well together making it extremely interesting to watch. You may think it is a simple time travel story like all the other dramas with a similar plot, but there are actually many hidden details and twists that make the story much more engaging and interesting. The drama focuses more on romance and comedy but also has a bit of crime. The one thing im most grateful for is that the writer did not over emphasise the crime portion but instead naturally incorporated it into the plot twists and character developments.
The writing was good and the plot is easy to follow, the comedy scenes are quite funny as well. All the actors did a wonderful job bringing their characters to life. Her best friend and her brother were so funny to watch.
Hyeyoon's acting was insane, she had to cry almost every episode but the way she could immediately go from tearing to bawling wowww. I loved her character as well!
Wooseok was really good as well he was head over heels for her and his expressions while acting were so good.
Their chemistry really showed 2 dynamics, innocent romance when they were in high school and college and a more mature relationship when they became working adults.
Really good watch and i'm glad this drama managed to go on air after being kept away for 3 years :(

the leads became the second leads?
Overall the drama is good, light and funny. Its a good show to watch when you feel like having a good laugh with some romance. The comedy scenes are really quite funny, even during serious moments you will be shocked by the sudden change in vibes. That being said, halfway through the drama the second leads gained a large amount of attention and their story was cute indeed (haters to lovers). So towards the end actually the second leads started getting more screentime and cute moments...hahaha which eventually extended to their own spinoff drama
The starting episodes of the drama were really good but the last few episodes felt very dry for the leads. Glad the drama was 12 episodes because there wasnt any big plot they were trying to solve or anything.
Overall it was a cute a fun drama!

a very casual rom com
Slice of life kind of drama! A simple and fun romcom! Roles are kind of reversed here where the female lead #KimSejeong is more outgoing and has a tomboy kind of personality (initially) while the male lead #LeeJongwon is highly introverted and a quite person. This is really a binge worthy show it’s only 12episodes and when you feel like watching something light and casual without any complicated breakups or misunderstandings this show will be good. It takes awhile for the leads to get used to each other but they have a very mature relationship and solve their issues properly 👍
The second leads are also really cute surprisingly both of them also had their own arcs given and challenges they had to overcome! The village people were so funny especially the biggest shippers of juju couple the 2 ahjummas!
This is the first time i’m seeing lee jongwon and !!!!! he should have gotten lead roles much earlier!! His acting was good and really very natural! Sejeong was really good in the emotional and sad scenes but aegyo >< (maybe not for me) yea the over the top aegyo all the time was just not for me...
overall will rewatch this drama down the road! The plot was easily to follow and very straightforward ~

players were really determined to win
i must be the only one who enjoyed this season....First of all, in this season the main thing i noticed was the skill level among the players was quite evenly distributed. Every player was ambitious to win and they all had their moments to shine. Like in every team game there were leaders trying to control but it didnt feel like everyone was just following them cause sometimes even within the team they betrayed each other. So this was something I liked.I dont really get the "unfair" argument. the piece battle only came towards the end. Before that all the main matches were just based on strategy (like who solves it the fastest). I would say the only issue was because the pieces was the only way to move up to the dorms it was hard for prison ppl to make a complete change unless they become first.
but thats just how the game was set up, in the end the strategies to win and stuff was still quite good. Much better than season 1 where alot of players didnt really have much motivation. Cause in this season even the prison players were so good the prison matches were equally interesting to watch.
the hate for hyungyu is so unnecessary, like this is a survival game not a show to make friends lol... he used all his opportunities to his advantage. There were ppl who wanted to make him win tbh this portion is something i didnt expect them to outright say it...but i guess that is their decision
The prison team like finally decided to colab with dorm members and when it was going smoothly they are the ones who decided to betray them so in the perspective of dorm members their objectives just didnt align anymore
The prison team had really strong members Harin, Justin, Eunyu. with Justin he was really strong at individual matches which caused him to fail during main match. Eunyu and Harin are really good they should have tried to make the dorm team an ally earlier...
7High...idk to me he felt really egoistic. Never share plan with someone then when they dont do what he wanted suddenly say he got betrayed. Then throw the entire burden of eliminating someone onto someone else keeping his hands clean. Kept telling the team he was ready to be eliminated but last min suddenly pulled out to survive...like?
I watched all 12 episodes together and for me I enjoyed watching the gameplay by Hyungyu and Eunyu. I was amazed at how Eunyu was so calm and her ideas were really good. With Hyungyu initially i thought he would just play as a smart solver at the side but he really took control in the shadows and used every opportunity for his benefit. He was really well suited for "Devils Plan". One more player was Justin, he was also a strong player but tbh he was isolated in the prison (esp when they stole his idea) I feel like he could have done much better if the arrangement was different.
overall I liked it :)
