As for the mastermind, i bet my money on Director Kang Pil(guy who cares for Han Ji Hyuk). He seems too suspicious from the beginning atleast to me.

I think we now have backstory for Soo Yeon and we atleast know where she is coming from and why she behaves in such a way.

At this point almost all the top brass are involved one way or another. We just don't know who is the main mastermind behind all this.

I believe it's fabricated. There are 2 cctv footages, one Ji Hyuk shooting and other ye ji was watching. She says something is wrong with the footage.

I think her character was designed intentionally to do that. It's like they are making us to focus on her and miss the real mastermind behind all this.

No it wasn't explained yet. At the end of eps 3 we know for certain she is investigating the suicides and deaths of NIS agents, and Ji Hyuk was of the agent who died and returned, that's why she choose to work with him.

i too think they would be friends. In this serious drama, if they introduce romantic angle it would feel very forced not natural.

we have to wait and see her side of the story in the next episodes. Only then we can confirm whether she is a mole. From her receiving the call to what happened next there are many possibilities.

I think it will be clarified in the next episodes. Although i doubt she is a mole, she could be involved either intentionally or unintentionally. That's why she is taking it out on Ji Hyuk, which only makes her an idiot who can't control her emotions.

Episode 4 was nice. Every character has a motive/stakes in the story. It gets you involved and curious. I am hoping it goes in the same tone till the end. The episode 3 action scenes were amazing. At this point it looks like everyone is a suspicious character and could be the mole.

Yes, namgoong must have have worked out a lot. He is beefed up and he looks amazing with that neat haircut.

I love the dark tone of the drama, almost all the characters and setting is set up with a dark background. They must have spent a lot on production. Hopefully the story remains engaging till the end.

After giving it some thought, i think my version is very cliche. I am embarrassed.

So i was thinking the ending could have been better. If I was the writer, this is how i would have ended the series.

Soo Hyun, instead of being dead she went into a coma (not sure when she will wake up) and Jung Sun Ah instead of killing K (assistant to KYH), she seriously injures him as a warning for KYH. So both of them aren't dead. The remaining chain of events remains the same (Min Jung using Ga On to accuse KYH, for Soo Hyun injuries, the truth of fire incident). Jung Sun Ah after realizing the horrors her actions caused during the hospital visit, deeply regrets it and wonders if given a chance would she have done things differently.

During the final court revelation scene chaos, Jung Sun Ah was deeply hurt by Park Du Man (Saram Chairman) on the head while she shoots Heo Jung Se (President) and her gun slips off her hand. While remaining semi conscious in the puddle of blood, she thinks back to her liking of KYH but also the abuses she suffered at the hands of her mother, father and Seo Jeong Hak (former President) while tears fall down from her cheeks. During the blast KYH escapes with Jung Sun Ah. Then the remaining chain of events remain the same (KYH and others being declared dead, Ga On reminiscing that nothing has changed).

After a few years, we see Ga On becoming the head judge married to So Hyun( apparently she woke up from coma a year before). In a different country we see KYH, Elijah and Jung Sun having dinner with Jung Sun as maid (her left hand had to be amputated due to a serious injury during the blast). KYH visits Ga On one last time and that is the final scene where they hug each other and say good bye.

I think both of them were at a point of no return, reconciliation of them was impossible. However it would have been nice if KYH said a few words to her at the end. For Sun Ah, yohan was a sweet memory.

I too thought she should have gotten some kind of redemption instead of a quick death.

I think she is broken, except for her attachment to KYH. She chose a path of no return knowingly. It would have been better if KYH spoke atleast a few words to her in the end.

I felt the same. I know she did horrible things that deserves to be punished. It would have been better if KYH spoke a few words to her at the end. She genuinely loved him.

I felt bad for Jung Sunah. She really loved Yohan. Granted she deserves death for all the horrible things she did, It would have been better if Yohan atleast spoke a few words to her in the end.
