You are my glory has now become my favorite C-drama of 2021. From the production, the acting, the amazing chemistry between Yang Yang and Reba, the cinematography and the score, everything is top notch. Hoping future C-dramas can keep with this kind of caliber.
The drama is so feel good, inspiring and uplifting and it was such a joy to watch with every episode. I loved everything about it, I also believe the beauty of the drama is within it's simplicity.
I got emotional on the final episode when Jingjing was at the space station and was about to leave with the crowd and she reminisce her school days, then I got teary at the rocket launch scene and then I cried when the rocket launched and Jingjing was so happy with tears in her eyes. I think the last time I got so emotional from a show was from Hikaru no go.
What a journey! from Yu tu's childhood dream to finally accomplishing it and Jingjing who admire and supported his dream from afar when they were younger to being there and experiencing it with him as his wife, they are by the stars true soulmates.
I will be rewatching this drama a few more times, because I can't move on from this, it shows how much I love this gem lol.
I'm so in love with this drama, it's been a while since I've been obsessed with a Chinese drama. The chemistry between the main leads is beyond amazing, it's so natural and they're so goddamn cute! I can watch them be domestic, interact with friends, colleagues and family all day long. It's such a escape watching this, I always feel happy with a smile on my face, even the co-workers, friends and the parents are all likable and cute.
Seriously, future C-dramas take note from this drama, it's such a gem. The wait for episode 31 and 32 is torture, Wetv don't have fast track for USA sadly, but at the same time I don't want it to end at all.
