After episodes 7 and 8, I actually like this series even more. It’s not just cute and silly—it feels incredibly real and close to everyday life.
I understand Tiw’s situation. Giving up isn’t wrong, but he chose to quietly withdraw. I think it’s because he didn’t want to admit that he lost by not getting Qin.
Qin, on the other hand, isn’t someone who expresses emotions easily. On top of that, there’s the past with Tiw (I really sympathize with Qin on this), so he tested Duang way more than I expected.
He deliberately said the teddy bear belonged to someone he used to talk to, didn’t clearly explain what happened with Tiw, and kept Duang feeling uncertain. Even after accepting to be in a talking stage with him, Qin became sweeter and more caring—but it really felt like “push and pull.” Qin does have feelings for Duang, but he doesn’t fully trust him (until the part where he tells Duang to come back in 15 minutes).
Overall, both Tiw and Qin are written in a very realistic, and honestly quite cruel (to Duang) - way.
Duang is the most “unreal” character in the cast. It’s not hard to see why Qin chose him. Beyond being cute, funny, patient, determined, and loving unconditionally, he makes Qin feel loved and more confident in himself ( It's something like ppl say The right person doesn't make u fall in love with them, but with u). Unlike Tiw, who tends to blame and makes Qin doubt himself. Duang’s way of loving is almost ideal for a healthy relationship. (Maybe it’s because he’s the youngest in the family—his parents and older brother worry that he can’t take care of himself, which makes him a bit insecure, so he wants Qin to feel recognized and more confident.)
If it weren’t Duang, no one else would be strong enough to pass Qin’s tests. Jamie kept telling him to think of a way out, but Duang still kept going, even though he was anxious and emotionally hurt.
Thankfully, after episode 8, things finally turned out well. Qin is healing, and Duang receives the love he truly deserves.

Khemjira was the first series that made me believe in DMD’s quality. Then Duang With You came along. It’s very different from Khemjira, but it’s just as great. TeeTee and Por really surprised me, their acting is so good. I can really feel the characters, and I enjoyed every moment so much.

Ep 5 is still cute, but it describes so well how deeply Qin has fallen in love and how stable Duang’s love is. I was dying when Duang said he had prepared to give everything to love Qin. It really touched my soul. Btw, Teetee and Por have improved a lot. I mean, I can’t imagine they would be this good. I would like to give DMD two thumbs up for what they did with Khemjira and now Duang With You. Saturday has become an incredible night.
