Your resemblance with the peacock princess in this drama is impressive. You also have the same goal with her. Wow!

It's my first time to be invested in a xianxia coz xianxia is not my cup of tea. This one exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed it. I even bought a vip pass for it after the first ep. The next eps trailers are interesting and I'm excited.

At first, I thought the ML has an annoying attitude, but later on, you'll notice that he is only putting that curtain to hide something real.

My giggling turned into a loud laugh on how the way ayin tried to cook him in the same spices he marinated her.

I love ayin's baby voice here. It's understable and cute. Not irritating unlike others. The CGI does not irritate my eyes so this xianxia is a big Yes for me.

Just finished watching it and its indeed the best version of She was pretty. I'm so happy with the ending. The last episode reminds me of the life I've ever wanted.It really feels good. I want to visit japan and see those beautiful scenery featured in this series and also try different dishes especially nato.

I think this version is better than the original. Its light and not draggy. The actors did well here specially the fl. She's not cringy and overacting unlike the fl' s of the other versions. Their environment is also good and fresh. My eyes are wide open watching this one.

I love the korean version, so I tried watching this one. Normally, even if the original version is better than the remake, I can still manage to finish it. But with this remake, I dropped it on the 1st episode. The plot is the same with the original but it lacks on many things and it too much on many things too. I can't feel any spark between the characters. The fl is too pretty for its role. And I felt so much cringe with her than the korean fl that i just can't take it anymore.

I first watched this way back 2018, and I tried to watch it again today since I haven't rewatch the original one a long time ago. And also, I'm giving myself the chance to watch cdramas this days coz I'm not a cdrama lover back then. But still, it gives the same cringe and fast forward it to see
If it gets better but nah. I'll move on. Any light hearted modern cdrama suggestions?

Man! This drama is the best I've ever watched! It is a complete package. Especially if you pay attention and understand the plot and its hidden messages, it all make sense and you wont get bored at all.

From episode 1 till the very end, it gave the best whirlwind of emotions I've never felt from watching any other drama or movie. Until now, i felt like crying, laughing or even getting an outrage whenever i remember iconic scenes. The actors did a great job in portraying each character especially the fl and ml. The emperor, empress and consort yue, they are breath of fresh air. Even the side characters made my blood boil. Grandma cheng made me puke whenever she burps out her onion breath.

This is the only series, for me, that 56 episodes is not enough. I want more! The cinematography is superb. I felt like i was there with them. I can't move on. Even my favorite movie can't compete with this.

Did we watched the same drama? Because everything you have said were just the opposite. This is the first cdrama ive ever finished from all other cdramas ive tried watching. Their chemistry feels so real and natural that i thought they are actually dating in real life. This cdrama actually made me consider watching and finished other cdrama starting with this drama's leads other works. And now im discovering more watch worthy cdramas with other actors and actresses.
Your free to voice out your opinions whether its positive or negative as long as it is REALLY ABOUT the drama. But if its just personal and only directed to one or few people involved in the drama, be mature and keep it to yourself. Negative things you do to others will surely bounce back to you or to the one who you support. People(particularly those who watched, finished, and understood the drama) are not stupid to see through your opinion.

Reminding everyone to not judge a book by its cover because your judgement will just be an assumption. One trailer does not show the whole story. Some did not understand or might not even finished the trailer to the very end that led them to a funny conclusion regarding the difference between the voice of the young A yin and the phoenix Feng yin. Well, whatever! I'm excited for this to air. Don't be a villain with your spoiled rotten unprocessed opinion.

1st cdrama I've ever finished and will surely watch it again. Love the story, the cast, the ost, the environment, the development of characters, and their positivity and maturity in a relationship. The chemistry between the leads felt like they are a real couple in real life.
A breath of fresh air it is. This opened a window for me to look and watch more cdramas. Cdrama watch marathon here i come!
