I hate the ex-boyfriend. What did he mean he couldn't get it up? Excuse me. You need help; you should see a doctor.…
I thought that maybe he has erectile dysfunction and this will later be a plot twist, that he didn't mean it in the "you are too fat" way, because he never said that and she just interpreted it that way. But the "he is gay" explanation works too, we'll see where this plot line goes...
I dropped it on episode 8. The beginning was pretty good, I liked the actors and the chemistry and all the comedy. It got a bit boring later on and then I just didn't feel like watching it. And then someone I know watched the show and told me what the spoilers are and how it ends and honestly... I feel like I dropped it at the correct time, I am not going to finish it.
Damn, this movie is wild. The first half of the movie is mystery that is quite funny, and then the story goes off the rails and gets weird and dark... I am still torn about whether I liked it or not. Very beautifully filmed and the actors did a great job, but I am not sure how to rate it...
Serious question: at what point do we stop referring to actors as idols? She has been an actress and not a member of an active girl group for 10 years. I also still see Si Wan and Park Hyung Sik being referred to as idol actors. Is idol-actor a label they get to keep for life, or does it expire after 10 years? Or after 20? I feel like at some point we should just refer to them just as professional actors, shouldn't we? There must be a whole new generation of k-drama viewers by now who only know them as actors...
This is such a fun show, I love it so much! My only nit pick so far is that in some scenes they add extra comedic music when it is not necessary. Even if it is a comedy, not literally every moment needs funny music, let the characters have their serious moments too, there is more than enough comedic relief in the story.
What type of horror is this? Is it like Kingdom (zombies) type of horror or the type where I won't be able to…
It is more like classic Japanese horror (think woman with long black hair covering her face while wearing white clothing), creepy ghosts and shadowy figures in an empty alley at night. If you like Junji Ito type of horror, you will like it.
I honestly don't understand why there are so many "the pacing is too slow" and "just a warning, the show isn't fast paced" comments here. This is a SUSPENSE THRILLER, and it is paced and written really well. I love an artsy thriller and I am 100% the intended audience for this show.
I'm only on episode 13....but we just found the truth of Park Jae Chan's character's background...I don't understand…
I also expected a bigger crime and it just turned out to be an unfortunate accident. But he did drive recklessly and didn't pay attention to the road and someone died. I am also not super sure how old he was, and whether he was tried as a minor or as an adult (he comes out of the same adult prison as all the other characters, so probably as an adult)...
This could actually work if they really tone down the sexual stuff. Think of Strangers from Hell - the Ml and the villain have chemistry, but it is just a psychological thriller about murder. There have been more examples of thrillers with homoerotic subtext. This would have to air on a streaming service, not on one of the channels and would probably be quite violent. I learned the hard way to never say never, after I was 10000000% sure that chicken nugget k-drama would never happen, and yet it did, so maybe Killing Stalking could happen too...
