I really enjoyed the last episode, it was cute and moving! And unlike a lot of people, I love Thua more than before.
I don't understand why people are surprised that Thua is actually the "bad guy", cute innocent looking characters often turn out to be a "villain" (Manga, J-drama). I hope Louis can play a real villain in the future ☺️.
I love this episode! It was clear to me Thua was the one who stole the notebook and I always expected him to be scheming something because he looks too cute and innocent and he is one of the main characters. What I didn't expect from him is that he didn't smirk but cried instead and I thought it would be a bittersweet ending for KhanThua's relationship 😅. Chadok and Dika being lovers is also expected 🙂 .
Ayan’s "For you, I can wait no matter how long." to Akk reminds me of Way’s (Fluke) "For you, I can wait forever." to "Kim" (First) from The Shipper 😢.
I finished to watch this drama by skipping most of romance parts. I’ll give my opinion regarding this drama. English is not my first nor my second language, so sorry if I made a lot of mistakes 😅🙏.
Overall, story is very good minus romance parts and the ending and despite some plotholes, it could have been a masterpiece if FL had never existed in the story, she’s just an unecessary filler character for romance purpose.
My favorite side case is the one with Nanon (ep6 and 7). I was sad for Sharas (played by Nanon) but I love how it ended, karma for his dad.
What I love the most is the brotherhood between Tanwa and Meena, it was the most beautiful and precious thing in this drama. However, that FL b**ch spoiled everything, because of her the two brothers can’t end up living happily together and forever. At first I just found her annoying but after what she said to Meena, I hate her. She is actually egoist, lack of empathy, a manipulative bastard and a stalker! Who is she to lecture Meena and to mess in siblings relationship ? She said something like Tanwa gives more love to Meena than the other way around implying that Meena made Tanwa unhappy. She said all of this to arrest or push Meena to kill Pathomkarn to avenge her father and to make Meena to surrender to the police. And we’ve never seen her showing deep bonds with her colleagues. If she was written like this (egoist, manipulative, a bad person) on purpose, I wouldn’t hate her that much because it would be the ultimate goal of her character in the story, ie to separate the brothers to keep Tanwa only to herself and to manipulate Meena to kill Pathomkarn for vengeance and succeed it which would lead to a bad ending. But it’s not on purpose, so what was the writer thinking when writing FL character ? (I know it’s a remake from a K-drama, and FL is worse in the original drama) IRL people like Aye are very toxic. In my eyes, she is the true villain of this drama... On the other hand, Pathomkarn is well written, he is twisted but he wanted to save abused children like him, he sounds like an adult with a (twisted) heart of a child. At least in last episode, he reunited the two brothers eventhough he was the one who separated them.
I should be glad because at least Tanwa really cares and loves Meena and they spent one year happily together. If it was a TVB drama (Hong Kong), the big brother would hate his little brother and little bro would completly go crazy. He would kill the big villain and becomes the last villain, he would take his big bro’s girlfriend as hostage and attempt to kill her but fails, and at the end he would be killed either by police force or by himself, and ending would be shown as a happy one...
edit : okay... I’ve just watched last ep of the original drama to compare. What FL said to little bro is much worse in Korean version (a real b***h). And she has too much screen times (and too much romance), she’s also very Mary Sue like. I think Thai remake tried to tone down that aspect.
I'm only at episode 1 and I already hate both FL AND ML! I understand now why the FL in Thai remake is so annoying, but in the Korean version she's WORSE ! On the other hand, the ML in Thai remake is so much more likeable while the K-vers, he gives me the typical cold alpha-male j*rk outside but sweet inside vibes from most RomCom, I even hate him more than the FL. The only good thing is flashback scenes.
That's the 1st impression I had after watching ep1. And I'll drop it since I can't stand both ML AND FL at all.
Currently on ep8. That girl Aye is annoying as hell, she acts like a 12 yo teenager or below 😱... and I fell asleep whenever there are those romance scenes with her and Tanwa🥱, so I skipped most of their scenes together. Fortunately, this drama gets better since ep4 with Paytai appearance (Thank you, Tay Tawan !).
Is there a fan cut version without those boring romance fillers ?
