That was so heartbreaking to listen to. Her little voice. This series really made me appreciate and think more about the relationships firefighters have with their family and community and each other. It was such a good series in that way.

Yes! The bride was Lai Lai. I think he was just a small part and really there to push the second couple into becoming a couple? I think he stayed at the small office branch when everyone else went back. Maybe he ended up as the manager there? It makes sense that he got the bouquet tho since they were joking at hot pot and Kai said he would be responsible for that guy’s love life and finding him a future wife.
I adore the ML and FL. Some might not think ML was masculine enough but it takes a real man to be faithful and literally put your life on the line to save the person you love. Darren Chen is so damned cute!
Also… I am beyond thankful that there were no evil shenanigans from the people who also crushed on ML and FL. This was such a healthy, mature relationship with the funnest hints of childishness.
I do admit that I wanted more at the end. I like that they tied everything up in a bow but it was missing the glitter. And why wasn’t FL a bridesmaid? Or was she? She’s not standing with her bestie at the alter!
And for folks who think FL was dumb for forgiving her ex and MiLu… 1. It’s a c-drama. 2. Being a mom and wanting the best for your child means wanting the people in his life to be at their best too.
