Ok there are so many things wrong with your comment, first of all, it's not her fault for getting seemingly similar roles, not only shen yue is like this actors/actresses once getting a breakthrough role that gets them a lot of popularity becomes their definitive role this is a major case in Chinese dramas a lot of the time you see actors and actresses play roles that are very similar be it personality, background, etc. and I know shes already been in the industry for 5 years but her dramas get a lot of popularity by playing similar roles tho in use for my talent and count your lucky stars she plays an adult she has that childish and cute personality which works for her because its part of her charm but my point is that, of course, she hasn't played any different role from her usual roles directors, fans, etc. love her in these and want her to be in them so naturally, she hasn't broken through her shell yet she will get the chance to get different roles and im sure she also wants to try something different too

i love the casting and shows you brought up i love zoeys extraorinary playlist and veronica mars and most of the other stuff but in maid sama i think its a good idea to cast sae ron as FL since shes rlly good at being the fighty type but and in maid sama she's aggressive but can be very sweet i think sae ron is will be good with that duality but all in all great list and if i would add something here it would be the movie Flipped from 2010 its a diamond in the rough idk what happened to when it was released but it deserves more recognition also would like to add wolf girl and black prince this already has a live action version but still want it as a kdrama or something
