This is a slow burn-ish, slice of life kind of drama with a kdrama feel to it. I say slow burn-ish because the attraction is palpable from the get go and the journey to get the girl is cute but respectful. ZLH delivers as an actor and is great eye candy as always.

It was ok enough to pass the time while doing laundry!

I like that the FML is a little thicker than most cdrama FLs and isn't dressed frumpy all the time!

I've seen the Korean version and now this version and here is what i think...

The Korean version is a lot more angsty and the ML is more of a douche, buuuut, it also has more chemistry and intensity to it. Ididn't care much for some of the side couple stuff.
And finally, by far it had the best OST between the two.

The Japanese version is a decent quick watch and you don't hate the ML as much but it does lack a certain oomph to it. I liked that this version didn't over do it with the side couples.

For me, i like the tension and chemistry more in the Korean version but that's just me.

I respect your opinion, it won't be for everyone. This is a modern noir series, not an artsy fartsy one lol! this genre is so difficult for many to do well but i think they excelled at it!

Modern noir done masterfully. Not perfect but still pretty darn great! Won't be for everyone but for noir genre lovers, this is a must see.

Dailymotion is pretty good as well! I'm sad about dramacool 😭😭😭
