First episodes, nothing out of the ordinary, but it gets better and better, to the point that this has probably become the best Chinese drama I've ever watched. All I can say is: good job!!
1. I read the fist book about seven years ago, started the second book, somehow, I lost interest.
2. I've only watched 3 episodes and in my opinion, it's worth the watch, not too complicated to understand, but I wouldn't give it a 9 or a 10. probably a 6.5.
3.So far, both the leading actors are doing a good job. Specially Yu he Wei, who gives a fresh air in all this depressing ambience that the series is portraying. Funny, down to earth, easily enraged. I like the role that's been given to him.
4. I know there are people who have commented on their liking the music score and so on. But I don't, there are times it's too loud, and you can barely hear what the characters are saying. What's with Chinese drama and sound? The sound special effects get to the point that are annoying, loud and repetitive. They should've restrained on using it too much, but I guess it's too late.
5. Finally a Chinese sci-fi series.It was about time, but I must say, lack of experience is palpable. I've heard everybody in China is talking about this series on social media, and how good it is. I somehow, doubt it!!

1. Not a fan of 张译, but i believe he was doing a good job in the first episodes, later on, not so much. 王俊凯 is a very young actor, can't expect much of him. Overall his acting is not bad at all. I can't make sense of his fatty friend, who I believe must have a role to play, otherwise, what's the point? The whole police department's acting leaves much to be desired, let alone the pig-mask thieves, now that was totally ridiculous, lowered the quality of the series by many points!

After episode 5/6, there seems to be a change in direction, otherwise I can't explain the dreadful actor's acting. I'm gonna give it another chance tomorrow with episode 12. The first 5 episodes were great, I really can't explain what's happened!
