Who told you it has a historical theme??? Even the theme is romance, black comedy..no way the word history is being used to develop misconceptions in your head.... You need to chill...did you reacted the same way when Mr.queen or mr sunshine was released?? Are you worried about the korean history everytime a korean drama with historical background is telecast??? Stop with yr silly historical lecture n watch the drama if you want entertainment, this drama is definitely not the right place to learn about historical fact.

For the production house the amount they are being paid matters....no doubt disney must paid them well enough, as disney+ is using this drama to introduce disney+ in ASia
