The problem is not the jokes, is the comic acting of the character. Only Chen ping ping maintained his Aura in S2. Second a d crown prince were very serious in S1,now they were acting like clowns.

May be you watch a different JOL. I already highlighted those whoose characters were more more comic in S1. Comedy and seriousness were balanced in S1 not all these nonsense were all characters want to become a comedian

I have watched the 6 episodes. As a fan of JOL from S1. S1 has a balance of comedy and seriousness. In S1, Only characters like Wang qing, Fan si zhe and Fan xian was acting funny and other characters like second prince, crown prince , king and so on were serious. But in S2, all of them were acting funny. The annoying part was even the new guard of the second prince (WTF is he doing?) Second prince does not act that way with his guards. I hope Lin yu rui (She was also serious in S1) will not act this way whenever she is introduced in coming episodes because that would make the drama even more stupid.
Season 2 is too comic., no seriousness. Does not have season 1's vibe. The second prince acting is different in this season, he was serious in S1 but too comic and bland in S2. Fan xian also acting bland. What made S1 great was the right proportion of comedy and seriousness. Even the Emperor was acting like a baby. Only Chen ping ping maintained his Aura from S1

I started the drama because of the name "impossible heir" but the writer wasted a potential best drama of 2024.
This should be awarded the worse drama of 2024. I am very sure no up comming drama will over take this no matter how worse it it.
This is one of the worse kdrama i have ever seen in my life. The story went from 8 to zero. There was no logical decision to every act done by the actors. They attacked and killed people without no meaningful reason. I guess the writer was confused as he doesnt even know what to do. This should be rated 4 , even 4 is me being nice. I wasted 12 hours of my life.

No sane old people will like the drama. The actors actions were not justified. There was no logical reasoning.
