I think that release a show with awful subs and only later correct them is a strategy. Because when it's released all the piracy sites post it and they will not update after Tencent provide the good subs, this way, if you want to watch with decent subs you will have to pay. I'm having this problem with The Long Season. I started to watching just now, 3 months later, because of the subs and on youtube not all are corrected. The good subs are on their site but there is only 9 free episodes and the last ones, that are paid, are the ones that still have bad subs on youtube. So frustrating.

Everything in this drama is incredibly dumb, but somewhat entertaining but I dropped after ep 7 because I already have too many dramas in my list so no time to waste with one so subpar like this. I recommend the chinese version, it is completely diferent and absolutely superior.
Another drama made following a recipe, nothing new, only more of the same. I think I"ll drop it because there is already so much to watch and I decided not spend too much time with so-so dramas this year.
I've waited so long for this drama, it's so sad now that is out they only provide machine translated subs. This used to be a problem with MangoTV only but now Tencent is doing it a lot too. It's getting impossible for us who doesn't speak mandarin to watch chinese dramas, I guess our audience is so insignificant to them that they don't even care to provide decent subs anymore.
