Exactly. I like Merxat too But his character was illogical and annoying from the start. And pursuing a married woman, also living in delusion that he had a chance till last was so ridiculous . 😆 And as you said both FL and 2ML would have been killed in real life back then, how can a married woman stay with her unmarried male friend who is desperately pursuing her🤣🙄

Don't know if the plot was responsible for their expression less characters. Because to me both ZZH and JJY looked stiff throughout the entire drama..only MERXAT looked normally acting in this
I started watching this drama 2 yrs ago for ZZH, then got bored and stopped watching. Recently I'm watching the rest of the drama in 2024. 🤣 To be very honest Female lead is too stiff in romantic scenes... Like she's standing there like a feeling less cardboard while zzh kissing her🙄..
Didn't understand the last 2 ep. They're 75% same as 48th ep, didn't understand the difference. And looks like ML was imagining things. And who was the girl in pink who gave Qishao the pill when he nearly died?? 🤔🤔🤔

I don't remember exactly which episode but it's around 7/ 8th episode they confessed. They didn't break up. Yes a little love triangle was there between ML,FL & His Ex. It wasn't annoying. And also female lead's ex and his son both liked female lead 😆.. but this were all comedic, nothing serious.
This is the drama where bromance is more convincing and heart touching 👉🏻👈🏻than the romance. Sometimes I feel like screaming at the chemistry of Yuan & Wang kuan 😌 - I can't help but shipping this two so hard😜😜🤣🤣 Also Junior wei and Xue ying 🤣🤣

I liked the story untill they started dating... And why she didn't marry him... He was waiting for her and also they're about to be 60 in few years... I would have liked a bit more if the wedding happened in the end!😞
