I made a profile on MDL just to rate and comment about this drama! despite watching a lot of c dramas earlier, only OnO and FaE made me join this platform!! pretty much said and written about how good it is. but seeing ALLEN REN being criticized for no kissing scenes, i had to write that even without it, the chemistry between leads is phenomenal.
Ren Jialun(ALLEN) does his job perfectly! his eyes, you can see pain, romance, anxiety, shyness in them. towards the end his eyes were quirky while having conversation with Shiyi, indicating that he has become more and more comfortable with her presence. The last three episodes, Allen Ren stole the show for me! He is too good.. <3
AND THE OST (<3) DESERVES A CAPITAL LETTER MENTION! both the dramas have bomb music in them! so so good...... the songs sung by BAI LU and ALLEN REN are also good.
ALLEN REN is extremely good in this drama! I feel that towards the end, when the story provided him a chance to show his sufferings he did complete justice. I think he is probably one of the actors that can create chemistry only with his eyes and gestures. Bai Lu complements him well. Ren Jialun should be praised, if people are criticising him only for not giving enough kissing scenes, it doesnt make sense to me. He has acted really well in both the dramas. FaE and OaO are going to be etched in my memory for the longest time!!! :)
