First arc is too slow. IDK why they build up such political drama when we are not going to see all of those characters…
it was the turning point for them. As an immortal, Xiangyun and Chukong has learned a lot about mortal world in that lifetime such as the important of love, death, and separation between family and lovers. That's what makes CK and XY, the immortals, cherish their relationship even more than before and realize love ain't take for granted just because they could live longer than human beings.
