After Ep 5 & 6 - maybe I was right the SML is defo susI commented a while back: https://kisskh.at/754061-she-dreams-of-cinderella#comment-17570677…
They showed a flashback where his gf left him for a rich guy. And now that he has achieved success in his career gained fame and money, he wants to date someone of similar social status.
Osn is ur fav?? I once watched sitr but ended up dropping cuz it got worse as I kept watching believe me it started…
Did u watch osn? They have many sweet moments together especially with ml's kid. The proposal scene was the best. Another thing that i liked in osn is the how fl and her sisters defended ml because the society saw him as someone with a defect (single dad). FL fought against her dad for him that's not something we see often. Usually it's the rich ml who fights with his parents leave them for fl (because the target audience is women and most of us fantasize about a guy who will do anything for his lover) then fl feels guilty breaks up with him and so on but that did not happen here. Here ml had his own struggles too, he had to face hardships for being a single dad. FL never treated him differently like other people or had any prejudice against him. These things really made me enjoy the angst. I like angst when it's done right and there's a happy ending guaranteed.

Her ex was the worst for sure but that didn't affect me much because they had to make someone the villain to justify fl's actions . If he had not stalked and had let her go easily then viewers would have just remembered her as someone who emotionally cheated on her partner, that's it. And this director often shows realistic characters, themes based on the societal issues in his dramas... In osn the theme was patriarchy/misogyny (portrayed by her dad and ex bf) and here it's the korean education system. My point is the chemistry, the romance part is not as good as it was in osn. Even between osn and sitr i consider osn to be better in that aspect.
Students would still need to go to academies because school teachers still have limitations. They do not have…
My school teachers really disliked academy instructors so they would always single out academy going students (me being one of them) and humiliate them for not knowing the answer to their question despite going to academy. I was left traumatized because of that for a long time
I think the concept of this drama might be hard to get into if you're not Korean. I'm from India and I grew up…
Exactly! I've experienced this first hand as well so im able to understand the academy vs school, teachers' politics and so on but i did not expect that 90% of the show is going to be only about that
Moreover im not feeling any chemistry between the ml and fl atp. They both are good actors per se but together as a couple they don't have that charm that other couples in ahn pan seok's dramas had. Yk all dramas were about forbidden relationship (to some extent atleast) how they hesitate to date each other, then start a relationship people find out they face criticism of the society stand up against their parents and so on. I know they will begin showing this from next week's ep but imo they should have started earlier. Because this is going to be a very tiring and time consuming process for both ml nd fl, asian parents and society won't let them have their happily ever after that easily
This is not bad but in comparison to One spring night which is my fav it fell short of my expectations especially the relationship part . They should have done the "revealing their relationship" part earlier because what comes after that has been the most interesting part of this director's dramas and what i was most looking forward to watch. Im enjoying the academy war and stuff but that's not what I wanted to watch in all the 12 ep.
The actress playing the role of son's girlfriend I didn't recognize her, she was in the web series twenty twenty. Her face has changed so much. Just like Roh jeong hui.
