No i don't think so. Sometimes you need to know how much time has passed to understand the psyche and actions of the characters in the present time.

What's interesting is that they have never fully shown us the mother's dreams or what exactly she has seen. So we don't know if ml is really gonna die or she just misinterpreted.

Her character is one of the reasons i like this drama. FL is not the typical moral compass, always being a goody two shoes.

I also thought that she's dreaming. Never expected it to be a time skip.

The transition was abrupt. They didn't even tell us how long it has been.

They should have gone with 14 ep format then we would have had a better and detailed explanation of -

1. Donghee's losing her weight, finding out about her bf's affair, breaking up with him, flying with fl's sister, going back to modelling, mending her relationship with her family especially her mom

2. Ina and her bf relationship, her classmate's redemption arc, telling her bf about her power and him saying i don't care i like u anyway (cliche i know)😆

3. ML's mom and dad mending their relationship.

4. FL teaching a lesson to her fake mom/ her mom's redemption arc

5. Ml and fl getting married, his family moving out of that house, restarting their life where they don't rely on their powers.

That time skip where they suddenly show slim donghee in a wedding dress was so weird, came out of nowhere. Really wasn't a smooth transition.

I did watch the preview for ep 9 on yt and he looks really disturbed for some reason.

I haven't watched ep 8...just a wild guess
