What a journey it was! Definitely a masterpiece in the Asian drama world. If i could i would have definitely given this 11 out of 10 stars on mdl but that's just my wishful thinking.
The actors, director, writer and all the people who have contributed in the making of this have done a commendable job.
This proves why namkoong min's dramas win so many prestigious awards in sk. Such a versatile actor he is! Never disappoints.
Ahn eun jin is one of the rising stars. Her last few dramas are really popular and i hope she keeps choosing good stories in the future too.
I might have started this because of the ML but now I'm going to keep an eye on the upcoming works of the director and the writer of this drama as well.

Btw when i started watching part 1 while it was still airing i was so sure that there's no way this could have a happy ending at most they would give us a bittersweet ending but I'm amazed the writers were able to pull off a satisfying as well as happy ending!

The order ib which the actors are listed on mdl does matter. If you have watched dramas of different genre for atleast 2or 3 years you will know this. But again this was not the point of my original comment.

Exactly it's a kdrama (on top of that it's a thriller) after all it does matter who is the ml and sml. I don't understand why do they think that we should only use this terms when watching a romcom.

The concept of ML and SML has nothing to do with romance genre. It is not exclusively use for romance dramas only atleast in kdrama world and it does matter to know who's the main lead because by that people can think about various possibilities of for example how this drama will end, or if it's a thriller and there's a hint that one of guy will die then 99% chance is sml would be that personperson, etc. I can list more but i hope this will be enough for you to understand why people (especially who like thriller dramas like me) keep asking who's ml and sml.

Before assuming that I've that "romance" mindset you could have atleast checked my watchlist or my year end review. And i don't understand why you guys are even talking about romance here when my original comment didn't even use that word. Just thinking about the possibility of being slight romance here is a big turn off for me.

No I'm not saying that she should have revealed her identity. I said she should have "somehow" convince the king to be a part of the plan... You know since the king has a sentimental spot for the former king's children if they had appealed to his emotions to convince him then maybe he could have come up with a better plan (since we all know how smart he is) to do this princess swap.

Yeah but what if it turns out that she was the one behind the former king's death and she is proved guilty in the court then i think they would need to punish her in some way even if they can't directly kill her. Or maybe force her to commit suicide? Because this crime is too big to be ignored imo.
