I neither like Republican era dramas (with 32 episodes) nor the ex lovers reunite trope.... But despite all that I'll give this a chance for Elvis han. I've Just finished fake it till you make it and now I'm looking forward to all his future works!
I rarely watch romantic cdramas but this... I'm so glad that i found this rare gem. It had everything that I hope all romance dramas could have
- Mature romance with actors who are in their 30s (usually cdramas with mature romance have older actors),
-Mature characters (one of the biggest reason I don't like cdramas is because they most of times have childish characters i really can't stand them) and
-14 episodes of 1 hour each..... Now this is the kdrama format and that's why unlike other cdramas(romance) which have minimum of 24 episodes have so many unnecessary filler episodes, boring family melodrama, b*tchy sfl/sml etc.
I would definitely recommend this to all the romance lovers. The chemistry between the leads is really good. 👍🏻
P. S. This has made me a fan of Elvis han. Looking forward to his other works !
I hope they wrap everything up by the end of this season because if they are planning to extend this with another season... well... That would be disappointing.... atleast for me.
