"I never said I wanted them to defeat Japanese"...... Ya you didn't but you also never talked about what were you expecting for the ending so i had to assume the most obvious thing. Your comment was quite vague for me to understand what things were not clear to you.

-"I never said i wanted them to defeat the Japanese"
-"You can write a conclusive ending with there being a winning or losing side"
You understand right that your comment above is contradicting itself?
And you didn't reply to what I asked. If defeating Japanese is not the conclusive ending you are talking about then what's the better ending this could have had according to you? And the "million unanswered questions" about the characters you are talking about what are those, care to elaborate? No offense but I'm just curious about what were you expecting. If you are going to reply to this try to be little less vague about your thoughts.
C'mon guys this is not a fluffy romance drama that you will find the leads going on dates and cuddling with each other. They have better jobs to do. They all have their own roles to fulfill to assist in the independence movement. Given that romance is not one the main genre of this drama they gave us more than enough scenes of the ml and fl together. Be thankful that this wasn't like mr sunshine (you know what I mean). Before watching this keep this in mind that This is the story about bandits fighting against the colonial rule. This was an action drama with lots of blood and gore scenes. This wasn't a masterpiece as their were lots of things that could have been better. I'm quite surprised that people are complaining about romance here.
I enjoyed the drama overall but if this doesn't have another season or a part 2 it is the worst ending i have…
But they couldn't have done anything else. They are against the Japanese army. The writers couldn't have shown them defeating the Japanese and eradicating their empire or something. You know that's not possible since history says something else. Showing that each character will continue their revolt against them at the end in their own way is the most sensible ending to me. Or if you have a different ending in your mind that you deem fit for this series i would love to hear that.
Ending was quite predictable. In my opinion Given the era and the situation they are in and the facts we know…
......No one died. The main leads, the bandit no matter how many times they got fatally injured and you would think oh i guess he's gonna die but miraculously they survived. Don't know if it's a good thing or just weird.
Ending was quite predictable. In my opinion Given the era and the situation they are in and the facts we know about that time that was the only ending possible. But the fun fact is..... Spoiler aheadππ»ππ»
The scenes of Lee yoon and nyeon yi together were the most entertaining. I liked the love/hate relationship they had. Everytime they meet They were like tom and jerryπ
