For those who are curious about the webtoon ending....
The last scene where that student goes berserk and goes on a killing spree is same the difference is he only killed 2-3 students and before he could do more harm nara in a state of shock shot him (and because of this she was traumatized) and the rest of the students survived. The homeroom teacher(male in the webtoon) and the platoon leader never died they were with the students till the very end. The teacher then covered up his death to protect nara. That jailbreak scene the bomb scene(where the platoon leader died) and that csat exam never happened!

No the spheres didn't kill them all. The last scene is same(that killing spree part) but the difference is most of the students survived (the lieutenant too)

There are a lot. The differences are mainly in the detailing. For eg their homeroom teacher was a male and he never died. In fact he covered up the death of that murderer student in the last chapter to protect rest of his students (nara was traumatized in the last ch) and the one who was taking the interviews was that fat guy etc. Well these things didn't much affect the story but They have added a lot of unnecessary things in the series just to create some plot holes otherwise the webtoon story was perfect. Right now i can only recall the how the last ep was different so here it is.... The ending is the same (that killing spree part) but the way they showed it here just felt weird. Also the one who killed that murderer was nara and a lot more people survived in the end in the webtoon. That csat scene was unnecessary.And that lieutenant never died!

He did came in the webtoon when that psycho went on a killing spree. In fact that bomb scene never happened in the webtoon (but the Lt did get hurt). And here they killed almost everyone but in the webtoon more people survived that shootout.
They made the students stupider here. No ae Sol had a character development in the webtoon but here.....her intelligence level remained the same throughout the series 🤦🏻♀️
