I agree the second leads are terrible. I always skip their scenes specially the coach's daughter I've never liked her and I don't even understand the purpose of her character. When did she even fell in love with the SML ?? And for what?

I just watched ep 1 and it's really good different from other Chinese romance dramas. How come I didn't know about it's existence. Can you suggest more such dramas?

It's been a long time since I have stopped watching Chinese romance drama. They are mostly the same. The FLs are always clingy childish damsel in distress and of course MALNOURISHED . Now I only watch Chinese thriller dramas especially with zero romance. And because of this reason Most of them that I have watched don't have main female leads as most of the time FL's role is just that she is the potential romantic partner of the male lead . Though exceptions are there like Reset, Thorn, etc.
