I totally agree with you about what you said about his character being just a filler and his most scenes revolve around the crown prince but I what I am pointing out is what you said about his feelings for her. For now let's suppose that he likes her and knows about her identity okay. Now what he feels for her isn't obsession or infatuation, infatuation is when you are physically (or should I say sexually) attracted towards someone instantly which doesn't last long whereas Lee Hyun has a soft corner for her, he had spent his childhood with her and gradually came to like her over time. Tell me can someone be infatuated to his ' cousin' despite knowing the fact that she is living like a man? Liking or having feelings for his cousin can still be accepted to some point but obsession or infatuation towards her is you know ..... Doesn't sound right , they are some very strong words which don't match up with his calm and sweet demeanor ( atleast till now) . But in later episodes maybe your point comes out to be correct if they suddenly makes him an evil character 😆😆( like the typical kdramas) but I hope that doesn't happen though.

I understand and respect your opinion that you like this drama very much but how can you compare these two dramas when one has just started airing and the other one is nearing its end? And numbers do lie, and the best example I can think of right now is 'Love ft. Marriage and divorce'. It's the most senseless and stupid drama ever but it scored the rating of 16.582% (MDL rating 7.4) and is currently the the eighth highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history and this is because the interests of Korean viewers and the international viewers vary( which I can elaborate on but I don't think it's required here) but that's understandable. Without offending anyone I just want to say that you should first watch that drama (at least watch 5 to 6 ep) before comparing , the female lead's character is very strong and the most attractive. I hope you will like that drama as much as this one!
This must be the first time that so many viewers are more attracted towards the FL's character (usually people are more attracted towards the ML, well that's understandable 😄). Park eun bin is killing it! 👍🏻👍🏻

I haven't seen any sign of obsession though. At this point Saying that he is obsessed with her is a bit too much i guess. But I do hope that he doesn't turn into an evil character.
I started this because of the male lead and even the story looked interesting. But now...... 😕😕 It's so slow with almost no progress . I would have watched it till the end just for the chemistry between the leads even if there's nothing new happening but that too is lacking in this drama. First few ep were really good but now I think I will be dropping it.
I really don't want lee hyun to be a part of any kind of love triangle here. He has that innocent look you know.... So it will be better that he just has a brotherly affection towards the crown prince and nothing more( whether he knows about her gender reversal or not doesn't matter).

All the actors did a great job but I have to say here koo kyo hwan's acting was commendable. This drama introduced me to this great actor as This was his first drama I have watched and now I'm anticipating all his upcoming dramas.

Keeping the cast and storyline aside even the (background) music is so satisfying; perfect for all the scenes in each episode.
