Actually their love story/plot is very complexe because their "kingdom/empire" are ennemies. in this situation either we have a ML(anti-hero type) who chooses "power/responsibility" over love, or a ML(hero unrealistic-novel type) who chooses love over "power/responsibility". and we have Ashile Sun who is kind of in the middle (a down to earth-man): a mix of a little responsibility and love: he manages to take over their ennemies, but at the same time he killed so many of his people (the crazy conflict of interest) Another thing, he was adopted and actually he was from the East (if i remember it well, and his family was killed by Great Khan something like that , i may be wrong), in other word he was more close to the FL than Khan when it comes to his background. the thing about her is that the character is too difficult. so as watcher we should keep in mind that she is acting while acting in this drama: i mean she is hypocrite and really bad: for example :when she cries in front of the king, she knows exactly that she had done wrong but still lies to him, so she has to cry but it's a fake cry at the same time
and i think she delivers it well, because she is meant to be so confusing
