As this series wraps up, I just have to say what a great group this has been - and it felt like I was watching and going through all the ups and downs with 'friends' :) - Happy Holidays everyone - looking forward to the next drama!
I loved this drama. Liked the way the story was told from start to finish and wrapping up each story arc nicely. The actors did a great job, and I loved (and hated) every one respectively. The ML & FL were so loveable and believable - and sooooo cute together. I liked all the couples really - and am glad everyone ended up the way they did.
I'd just like to add that although I wish Shang Guan & Lin Qi had a combative way of interacting, I kept in mind that she was from a warrior tribe and so was aggressive by nature. So, I didn't take it seriously to see their relationship as 'abusive'. It was clear that their characters grew to love each other from pretty early on. He was probably one of the most underrated characters in this show, but also one of the most valuable. I loved that scene between him and his father when he was sick.
Favorite character of this show? Su Shen! I loved him!
Does she becomes main wife or he gets married to that princess??
True. I think this is the case with all the couples. You can see how each one of them evolves to become closer and more understanding and accepting of one another without the overly dramatic tropes. I am liking this one a lot.

I get it. I was ready to dislike the 'wife' but she really is focused on helping the lead couple to realize their potential (especially the FL) and makes it clear from the beginning so there are no misunderstandings, and the couple can continue their relationship. It has taken the FL long enough, but you can see her development and at least they didn't break up to make up. Give the story a chance - I think it will be worth it! :)
I agree. It's not intentional, and she seems so wrapped up in her own ambitions that sometimes she doesn't realize how it affects YH. He just seems so naive and vulnerable, while she so focused on her goal. I'm hooked on this one to see how it all plays out - and I hope without too much angst!
Thanks for the clarification about the episodes and why we don't have any till Dec 9 - I was getting worried. I am enjoying this drama a lot - just don't want any heartache with my lead couple. I wish QS would treat YH better - I love his gentle character. He doesn't have anything to prove to anyone but himself, and I like that. She, on the other hand, needs to think about someone other than herself. I think she hurts him without realizing it. I remind myself, it's a story after all and not real life - but the actors are going a good job so far.
