it's not about him, it's about the narrative being presented that an unemotional jerk (male ofc) is better in business direction than an emotional female. he has a good direction and really wants the companies to get better but the way he does it is not right.

i dunno why people are expecting so much from this drama. it is a "modern romcom idol drama". Of course, it isn't going to have a perfect plotline with mature characters BUT it is going to be fluffy with cringy and awkward moments between the leads that are going to make you laugh and smile and kick your feet gushing at them all the while experiencing secondhand embarrassment for them. It is also going to have business talks and lingo as an attempt to come off a bit serious in an idol drama. i love that aspect since it makes me more engaged and better understand my characters and their motives, if you don't understand it or don't like it you can skip it/fast-forward it.
The 3rd couple has fire in their chemistry but people are forgetting that they already have been having a thing for some time in the drama and that's why they are looking at each other ready to rip the other's clothes off. That my friends is flirting and sexual tension at the peak, and they would have been a focus if this was a romance-only drama, but it's not.
the main couple just got introduced to each other and they already have this tension between them, those lingering gazes, subtle jealousy, ahhaa!!They are the focus of the romcom, so they are going to experience idiotic funny moments to make us giggle and swoon. So, they are going to behave awkwardly, they don't have much experience in dating,- he hasn't for 3 years, and the only relationship she had was not really a relationship tbh.
It is only 8 episodes rn -28 more episodes left and people just keep saying they like the 3rd couple better, bc just wait for a while, it is a drama, they are going to have character growths, they are going to get together, they are going to have sizzling scenes too...
