i don't think that she was at first planning to do so, she was surprised when Liang Yi told them that someone is waiting to catch them, so i believe she then started to stage everything to make the best out of the situation, including the fall

binged the first 10 episodes and this was just so engaging and fun! I love the chemistry between the cp even when they are just bickering, also the ML's deep voice is so sexy that it works wonders for the character...(it felt a bit different in the start but as the drama went on listening to his voice is something i realised to be looking forward to)

the only similarity between this drama and story of ming lan is that the FL is daughter of concubine, ML is marquis, and SML is son of Duke...i also thought of ming lan when i first started it but then that's it and does have a lot of humourous content and really enjoyable
