I just reached the part where the Dream T has come into the picture, good gawd, why am I still watching this?…
I stopped watching middle of Ep 9. I didn't see any potential for the story by then. I only story I cared is the sins of the father, will the the same of the sin of the son, and maybe do better than his father, of which loving the maid and giving up on love.
I still think it's too obvious for the author to be the killer. Maybe they truly are her victims but of a different…
She is the instigator. The real murder are the bullies. Remember "Glory" they're on the similar topic. I just wished that it was the FL''s mother that's the real serial killer.
what did you predict let us know? let see how predictable it is?
Everyone here have some and almost the same prediction. A woman or a group of women bullies were the serial killers. The lady writer instigated the murders so she can write about the women killer murderers. Basically that's what will happen. As in my first post I would like to put a twist in it. but that will not happen because of course the good guys are the good guys while the bad guys are the bad guys. Still I'll keep an eye for this series.
well "love should conquer everything" what a fairytale line. This drama and your view on love is all fiction -…
First, thanks for the eloquent replies. I have a down to the bone asian family bond origin, and you are confused because I grew up in the west. So you can say I'm a mix bag of sort. What's frustrates me still that she was at the very beginning compliant to her family wishes and needs and until the very end she is that. Love never was really an impact on her or just. Or just maybe the the title fits because Call it love for her "family and culture," and the the love for her man was secondary.. The hardest part for me is the man's cursed life: his mother's sting. The man is worse than divorcee, even worse than a prostitute. Julia Robert's character in Pretty Woman is much luckier than this sorry AMF. Sorry for my french. The problem is this she did exactly the same to him, as what his first girlfriend did to him. EXACTLY, no difference, the same! I would have never come back to her if I was the man. I would like to end the series few minutes cut off.
K-Dramas sometimes are so frustrating. I love this romantic movie until the stupid ending. The love is so weak and they have to passively tip-toe on everyone just to have a relationship. They have to be compliant on everyone acceptance standard around them in order for them to get permission on their love. Is this a culture theme in Korea, is this a very soft happy ending that needs everyone's approval so they can have a loving relationship. It isn't I think like the love story "one Spring Night" or "Another Miss Oh" They endure love they did not ask permission or approval from their culture. Love should conquer everything. but in this series Everything and everyone permitted love.
Sorry, love makes you crazy. People have felt this way, nothing new. We just wished it's just reciprocated. That's why some of us watch romantic melodrama is how to feel romantic.
Think about how good was this series. It is so nice so heart breaking that this will last the most in my heart than any of the formulaic kdrama I have ever watch. Maybe as memorable as Mister Mister? . Think the self self sacrifice you have to make by being stranger to the one that you love the most.
This is just the best episode so far! It so unpredictable. I don't how Koreans perceive Korean Drama, but you have to let the characters role to what they are suppose to be base own their own to their own circumstances and their nature , and not what the audience expect them to be. Red flag. Story is true to it's nature. It's a wonderful series. I have it 10/10.
I very much love crash course on R, but I love this drama a lot more. It is realistic, and somewhat unpredictable. It says I have my story to tell, and damn all the stories and formalaic stories before me.
I know why I love this one. because It ain't so obvious if they'll be together nor what the show meant. If they'll get back together at the end, there should be a darn good reason. The makers of the show should not coup out/ sell out them being together just for the sake. I loved "Something in the rain," but hated that they came back together. That wasn't meant at all.
I was wondering who wrote this wonderful series. And then I found out it was Park Hae Young, who also wrote My Liberation Notes, and My Mister. Kaboom! Kaboom! If there ever was only 3 drama series I could pick in this lifetime, these three is worth in gold. Thanks Miss Park.
I actually skipped this after a couple of episodes because of some silliness at the beginning. But it's an 8.5 rating. I'll be going back to this for sure.
