I wish they hadn’t gotten back together. The male lead kept saying, 'Oh, I’m sorry I made you feel alone,' which doesn’t even make sense. That’s not the issue here, dude! We get that you’re Japanese and being a workaholic is common, but the real problem is that you didn’t bother to answer her calls, text her, or even let her know you couldn’t make it to the wedding. This kind of behavior proves he doesn’t truly love her. It’s easy to say 'I love you,' but real love is shown through actions.
When you love someone, even if you’re apart, you constantly think about whether they’re okay, if they’re eating well—and YOU ANSWER THEIR CALLS!
Plus, the fact that he didn’t even try to learn Korean and made her move back to Japan shows he’s a selfish asshole. Don’t be like him!

Exactly my thoughts! It reminds me of The Devil Wears Prada, but when I watch Miranda Priestly, I see a strong, sophisticated, elegant businesswoman who’s the best at what she does. In contrast, this CEO comes off as arrogant and outright rude—she doesn’t care about her employees or even bother to say hi. So many red flags. It takes a whole other level to be like Miranda Priestly, and she lacks the success, charisma, and professionalism to pull it off.

King wasn’t the one who killed him—it was Lord Cheon, who then helped him ascend to the throne. The king feels guilty because he knew about the murder and did nothing to stop it, as it ultimately benefited him

The movie is also set during In Jo's reign and sheds light on the death of Crown Prince So Hyeon. I think it would be interesting to watch it from a different angle
Hah, I've just finished watching My Dearest, which is also set during In Jo's reign and tells a lot about the life of Crown Prince So Hyeon in the Qing Dynasty. I'll watch this now; very convenient.
