On ep 21 , and I kept on wondering what those elders were thinking, their thoughts are like that of a shrew with half brain,
Like how did they become transcedents in the first place with such brains.
First they immediately suspected CCB as the murderer of situ Hong's aunt, with such little evidence without doubting his involvement in the slightest.
Again they saw his sword that sends an emergency, for them to come to xueying territory, they didn't immediately react to that , rather they were still deliberating, even until the sword left their presence again. They were still being so skeptical. Like what would it take for just one of them to go and scout xueying territory to know exactly what was going on, but no!, It's not like y'all are quadruplets and must move together.
If they had gone when xueying persuaded them, they would have arrived some moments earlier like maybe before the well opened and that Sea God palace master won't have ended up sacrificing himself.
And Qinshi too, ..., I just wanna slap some sense into him anytime I see him grinning and gawking at Ji Rong, and yell "boy ! wake up!", Like he's under some enchantments or something.
As for that first priest (Da Jinsi). I'm suspecting his identity to be Xi Yun, master of temple of the earth God, one of those elders
He tried to stall xueying from going to xueying territory.while they were still at Si manor. And he rarely contributes much, I've long suspected him .
Well Let's keep watching , shame the next episode after yesterday's is in 4 more days. It's a long wait, but long enough for me to burn out steam from the disappointment of yesterday's EPs.
In the meantime, I'll keep myself occupied with Destined (2023) and Qin dynasty epic (2020)
out of all these characters there is only 1 1/2 brains in this series
My point exactly, they are so blind and oblivious, at some point I was trying to convince myself that,oh, maybe it's a trap, especially in the scenes with ji Rong in xueying territory and they are just trying to lure her to reveal herself, only to find out they didn't even suspect her . Mehn it's so disappointing
Im wondering how CWD could still survive from the impact of multiple rocks falling on him from such a high place with such a great momentum, people sustain traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury from less.

True, its questionable that MX transformed within just a year, I was thinking it's gonna take like 5 years at least.
It's surprising how she became a business Don in just a year. She was smart before, yeah, but for someone that find it difficult to read and write, such growth is rather too rapid.
But I agree theres only little they could do in few EPs without the rating dropping further. At least we had a closure. And there was no vibe of cut scenes from the ending
They actually pulled off a great ending, I thought they would pull a rush job but that wasn't how it felt at all.…
Yeah , me too, I thought the ending was gonna be rushed since there's only one episode left and nothing conclusive had happened so far, but to my surprise , the ending went well and steady not at all rushed,all wrapped in one episode, there's even enough time to reminisce on past events. Nice.
Is Kong hai (youyue's dad) crazy , oh, someone does not want to marry your daughter ,so the next thing to do is to go off and kill the rival,
I don't know how characters in C-,dramas always think that solves things. And this is coming from someone that refused to help xueying when their home was in dire straits.

She's just an evil ingrate, what would it have taken for her to just pull her up, they are three full grown ladies and yet they couldn't drag her up, at least one tried ,I'm looking forward to what LYR is gonna do once she finds out. Hopefully ,it could be mao'er that will let the cat out of the bag
This series started on a good note but took a down turn, I was starting to get bored with each episode, at some point I was rooting for CWD and MX but now that they are finally together it's like they've got no chemistry anymore. MX character was an interesting one at first, but later all her actions and even words became so predictable and somewhat repetitive. Me personally feel the qinzhou battle between WJG and CWD became too draggy, took a lot of episodes , making the series almost loosing it's touch.
I'm angry at the fact that CWD , who was portrayed as a seasoned general now has an intellect worse than an ordinary soldier that he was unable to find out the poison was from their weapons. Literate or not , generals deals with wars and battles in harsh and unfavorable condition, inclusive of poison and topography.
Now speaking of topography, how could they pick such a low ground as hideout , (in EPs 34 &35), so low that that stones could just easily roll over them, like!
CWD's performance these last few EPs are just as annoying as MX's not that our other couple are any better(WJG ,BFY) but I'm more disappointed with the former. When MX wasn't willing to stay with him he tried every means possible to stop her from reuniting with WJG, now that MX has given him her heart, he tried to leave her and die alone a foolish hero,when he's yet to remove the traitor label he's been carrying
AND I SWEAR IF I HEAR WJG or BFY call out MOXIII.. one more time , I might just loose it!!
May be WY is the least annoying to me in these last 2 eps cause didn't join them in screaming MOXIII.
Hopefully these last 3 EPs will salvage this series for me

The insider that poison them was not his soldier but a lackey of one of those commissioners that want CWD to marry his boss' daughter.
And I'm surprised CWD didn't take precautions against them since he's aware that those commissioners are always fickle with their loyalties.
