I can't remember if I've ever seen the Japanese Version of My Love Mix-up or not (I don't think so). I went in without any expectations or anything to comapre it with and I came out sold. Loved it. laughed all through. I liked the colouring and their complexion in this ep. It finally felt like I was watching "Thai" people cos I know Thailand is a tropical country. I like the way Gemini is slaying his role. By the time ep 1 ended, I could already tell the character he was playing has no idea what love is, even before his character mentioned it. As for Fourth, I have always loved the way he acts, no I won't say too much.
I can see some comments below complaining about him being stiff. Trouble is, the japanese actors who portrayed those roles played it based on their own interpretations of those characters. If you keep expecting Gemini and Fourth to mirror them, you'll probably end up not liking this version.
Since this is an adaptation from the Manga, it's bound to follow Thai culture closely and the actors are going to played the characters based on their own interpretations. This also means the Thai way of acting is going to come into play as well. This includes their way of expressing comedic relief, their mannerisms, the common background sounds e.t.c.
I'm being genuine here and I'm not trying to downplay anyone's opinion but I think you should give it a chance and set every expectations you already have aside, and just watch it. This might just become another version you love so much even though it's different in it's own way.
"Can you tell me why you have to have sex with someone when writing a love scene?" This line kept me awake for…
Connor sent him to the Island to Mut on purpose, because Connor found the love of his life on that Island too and Rak told Connor "I wish I could find someone like your lover" (even though he doesn't do serious relationship). Since Connor had met Mut before, and Mut is handsome, he decided to send him there.
Apparently, this show is a crossover from Tharntype universe. That's where the information above came from. From Love Sand.
You wonder why Mut gets into Rak's nerves? If someone speaks the language I understand and speak but refuses to…
Exactly. Plus Rak was hungover, had not slept, was seasick and Mut thought it was fun to drive him roughly even though he could tell Rak had not been on a tricycle before. Then he refused to sleak a language Rak would understand even though he could speak the general one. He took his phone roughly from him and proceeded to answer his call. He took a key, let himself into the apartment and flung the blanket of someone who wws sleeping. Yet, Rak is a grown man and was treated that way. Now, how can Rak not go into defense mode?
If this was real life, I'll probably not want to return to that Island ever again. What Rak did was de javu to stories I've heard of experiences of females travelling solo and one of the resort memeber of staffs would let themselves into the apartment and attempt to grape them.
I didn't have time to watch it today. I'll watch it tomorrow after today's OMG! Vampire episode.
No, he was not. He was tired, hungover, seasick and had not slept. See, when you travel a long distance and are Jet-lagged and all you do is you want to sleep, even your temper is bound to be short if you receive the treatment Mut gave to Rak.
Do you know what make it worse? The moment Mut picked Rak up and he could tell Rak has never used a tricycle before, he deliberately drove rough and was laughing and having fun at his expense. This is someone who was already seasick. How would you feel? As a traveller who hoped to be able to travel solo some day, what Mut did scared me. Even up to taking a key and inviting himself into the apartment and throwing away his blanket when he was sleeping. Rak is not a child to be treated that way. This was why Rak went on a defense mode.
- Run is so cute. He's already falling for Zen and their chemistry is actually good. When he invited Zen into bed and then laid on his chest, my heart melted.
- The way Patrick did a 360 degree and started crushing on Phum. I supposed we have Phum to blame for that😹.
-I like what Phum did when he was nearly caught in a lie by Patrick. I thought Patrick was going to play him but he instead played Patrick by kissing him. That definitely left Patrick speechless and I also like how Patrick snapped out of that daze.
- Jolie is so silly and cute. She's got 2 men running after her but I bet she likes Chin more.
- Patrick said "maybe he's someone I've been waiting for". That's interesting. I wonder what that means🤔
Bahahahahaha I literally haven't stopped laughing since I started the ep. My boys are as hilarious as ever and their comedic timing are on point. Their expressions sent me rolling every time.

Tong's annoyance was a response to Mut's behaviour. If someone is all in your face, and you don't want them to, I doubt you'll be civil for too long. Mut gave Tong a poor first impression, hence, Tong was on a defence against him.
A few things that didn't sit well with me this ep. To me, Mut was annoying. He was irritating Tongrak and honestly, I don't know how Tong put up with it. Mut was too forward, keeps speaking his dialect to a guest who repeatedly says he doesn't understand (I doubt this🤔) after the guest found out his host could speak the central dialect. Invites himself into the apartment and basically in his face. Yes, I know someone contracted him, still, he's never met this man before. Being contracted does not mean he shouldn't give him space. Tong is an adult... He should atleast be able to tell the man he just met to give him some space and I don't think that's wrong. Tong's bitchy response was a reaction to Mut's attitude.
Things I really liked: Their chemistry was top-tier. Peat's character was so him. His expressions were on point. Fort's little laugh and smiles are adorable. Peat is sexy asf and the fact that I just realized this and didn't notice this when LITA aired. I was all over Fort's beauty (only) back then. I feel like bitch-slapping myself. Anyways, it's only ep 1 and I did have a good laugh. I'm looking forward to the next ep.
You all can fight over who gets Peat, meanwhile I'm gonna go have a contest with Fort to see who can break who…
Oh hey! It's been ages.
Ah yes...we're back to the competition for characters. Good to see you're still not fighting me over any of them. You want Fort, I want Peat. I can't wait to see who breaks whom between you and Fort.😹
Loved it. laughed all through.

He did a 360😹

Well, a win is a win. Whether you break Fort or he breaks you, it should all be a win 😹
