Well, the night Peak arrived, he was dead drunk. He fell on the couch and accidentally fell on someone who was sleeping on the couch. His lips accidentally touched that person. That person might have ruffled/rubbed his hair to calm to comfort him.

I'm not sure if anything else happened cos this is all I gathered from that flashback.

Now, he's conflicted and wondering who he was cos it was very dark, he didn't see the guy's face and he fell asleep.
Next morning when he woke up, the first person he saw was Latte who was sitting in front of him.
Latte also spoke to him first. Now, he's confused and wondering if Latte was the guy from that night but he's not brave enough to ask yet.
