I do wonder though... They used a slim guy to play a fat guy who was fat-shamed in SCOY. If they had used an actual chubby guy, do you think the public will not go after the production and accuse them of fat-shaming?
I mean, at the beginning of this show CC, some people had a problem with Samsi being casted as that chubby guy who also likes to eat while neglecting his well timed comedic actions. However, I do agree that he should have also had a romantic interest, male or female, doesn't matter.
I realy hate when BLS use female characters to create a nice little love story for the boys. Amazingly, this has bred so much hate for female characters in BLs that once a female come on screen, before they even say Jack, the hate train starts. Even when the female is treated awfully, is cheated on or strung along by one of the boys, she rarely gets sympathy and most just wants her to disappear. This is getting old and since this is 2024, I hope things changes because females are not the devils BLs make them out to be.
