It's normal to like or dislike a character for different reasons. Often times, we are drawn to a character we empathise, sympathise or relate with. Sometimes, we just really like them. But then there are characters we really dislike due to their behaviours, actions or how we perceive them in relation to something/someone who is similar in our real lives. It's normal to have these feelings. There are also people who just dislikes a character for no particular reason, as well as those who hate a character who is totally opposite their (the viewer's) personality. What you should be weary of is getting too attached to a character. It can hurt alot if you get too attached and that character is hugely misunderstood by other viewers and then you have to read negative comments about that character. I learnt the hard way when OF was airing. I would never allow myself to love any character too much.

Pavel indeed comes across as soft in real life, yet his portrayal of Babe is so amazing that I deem him made for the role.
