Life is so difficult that people sometimes like to get from the harsh reality to a place where they can feel even the tiniest hope tnat someday, things can be better. People find these in fiction, gay or not. Atleast, I for one grew to believe in love again from fiction.. Even young gays who despair find BLs as a comfort zone..I can't speak for everybody but everything has an advantage and a disadvantage. Sometimes we crave realistic BLs. Other times, we also crave some sweetness. I want mature theme shows, other times, I just wanna giggle and laugh happily. This is not just related to gay shows. These includes straight shows as well.

Lol. I'm not against them having sex if they're horny or something. The reason why I still find it unsatisfactory is because the last ep ended on a weird confession scene, then the next ep started with a sex scene and even after having sex, Guy did not have any inner dialogue or wasn't confused about his feelings and how to sort them out. It's as if he wasn't even pinning for another guy just the previous night.

Yeah..even if it is just 8 eps, some things could have been removed and other vital things added. The transition between Guy pinning for Wahl and him being in Tew's arms wasn't properly fleshed out. I kept waiting for him to wake up from a terrible dream but all I got at the start of the ep was straight-to-bed scene, and Guy acting like he never liked Wahl. Don't get me wrong. I like that he finally stood up for himself and told Wahl off but something seems to be missing in the love confession and relationship between Tew and Guy.
