This should be the shitiest comment section I've ever seen. No second shitiest. The gold medal went to the comment section of "High School Return of a gangster" back then.
No but Iβm genuinely upset by this rating and I need to talk with someone about it :(
Don't let it bother you too much. If you're very familiar with MDL, you'll see this often. Sometimes, people downrate shows out of spite too. The sucees of this show does not depend on MDL ratings, so just ignore it and enjoy it.
It's one thing for a comment section on MDL to be full of negativity. It's another thing for it to be full of spam. How did y'all make this comment section about a fellow user, a comment section which should have atleast been about the show? You gave them attention that they looking for. What a mess!
As for the rating, MDL managed to impress me to brand new levels today. It first went from 6.6 to 8.2 and now 6.5?π I can't tell if it's a glitch or if certain J&J fans who seem to have something against this show downrated it. Once again, I'm glad MDL ratings does not determine the success of a show.
So, what exactly was their fight all about? Weird.π They just kept going in ep 7 without even properly stating what the issue was aside from "you don't understand me, you're selfish you only care about yourself"...... That's it? Then talk it out...but nope....they glossed over it and made up just like that until Inn overhead that phone callπ.
Well, let's see how ep 8 will end.
Edit: Finished episode 8. They managed to resolve everything beautifully above my expectations. The ending was indeed beautiful and overall, the show is an unexpected gem hiding among a sea of coloured stones.
I wasn't convinced that this show deserved the hype it's getting when I watched the first two eps. Heck, I wasn't even convinced 20mins into ep 3 but by the end of ep 3, I was sold and ep4 broke me. Namping, you're heartless and I'm sorry you died, but I don't like you anymore after what you didππ. I'm struggling not to curse at you right now. How dare you break my heart? and his?
It would interest you to know that the person who wrote this comment on twitter actually has JesBible from 4minutes…
Yes. So, it's hypocrisy in the BL fandoms. Of course, the internalised homophobia sometimes reveals itself. Like people who only wants the depiction of queer shows to be about queer characters suffering, experiencing homophobia, and being shamed. Then they consider this kind of shows the real depiction of reality. They act like queer couples can't enjoy life, have fantasies like everyone else, or even have cutesy silly shows much like straight shows from mainstream medias. I have seen queer couples who have been together for more than 40years. I think it's important to have all kinds of representation in media and we shouldn't try to limit it to one aspect only- which is suffering.
It makes me mad that even when there are NCs in straight romances, no one bats an eye. It's to be expected and no one complains. They either watch it or forward past that scene, but in BLs, it's always the "they're trying to sell the show with NC". "It's too much NC" e.t.c, as if queer folks can't let loose or just fuck for the fun of it like straight people. All of these opinions of how queer people ought to behave from both straight fans and young queer audience goes round and round in circles and it's just a never-ending issue of trying to box people up to fit what they want. The word "queer" in the first place should be an unboxing word. I don't know how else we can educate the BL audience. It's exhausting trying to teach people who are not ready to learn.
today the director jojo was arguing with some people criticizing him because of the sex scenes in X, I think there…
It would interest you to know that the person who wrote this comment on twitter actually has JesBible from 4minutes on their DP. Now, we all know JesBible's NC scenes were way spicier than this. The commenter was saying that certain actors who have innocent image do not fit mature themes and as such, should not do NCs. So, the problem is that some of these fans don't want diversity. They want certain actors to only play the same character. For example, actors who usually play innocent/naive bottom character. The moment they do something different, there is an uproar and people don't stop complaining or stop comparing their previous character with the current one. The same thing is happening with FirstKhao right now because people won't stop comparing SandRay to KantBison.
Definitely but it's not at that level yet. This is only the beginning. I predict that both couple fandoms are gonna have a war, including certain individual fandoms.
I. Careful with my nipples, they are sensitive. 2. I want to eat your burger. I bet it tastes divine. 3. Of course, I've checked him. Inside and out. Several positions, really.
No further comment to add, your ladyshipπππππ
π―. I personally did not have any expectations towards this version, yet I was disappointed. I have decided to take the show as camp and just laugh at everything.
