Thankfully this is a cdrama, imagine the torture of waiting when it's a kdrama.

I think that’s the difference. Saying “I don’t like her acting” is personal taste and that’s fair. Calling her substandard sounds dismissive, so people are naturally going to react. She started acting young and later spent four years studying her craft, finishing first in her class and winning awards, so that label doesn’t sit well with everyone. Freedom of speech goes both ways — you can share your opinion, and others can agree or disagree and reply. Lets end it here then as you said.

The female lead is playing her role really well. Her face card though goodness.

yeah the writer did him dirty. The guy's so sad all the time, always doubting himself, jumping to conclusion, serious all the time. Lol poor guy.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel uncomfortable that the male lead keeps grabbing the female lead’s arm and dragging her wherever he wants in several episodes. Like hello? she's not your gf yet and even if you are, don't ignore boundaries and consent. I get it you're acting "macho" and all but yikes.

I was like "I don't like the ML" then for some reason he looked very familiar dugged through his profile and saw him co-starred with my one of favorite actress and I both love them. Guess I have to watch this one too.

I guess the people who ranked her first in Central Academy of Drama are all wrong then, and substandard too. When I look at her acting I'm convinced of the emotion she's relaying not over acting. And the feeling she wants to relay is also on point. And whatever your gen is does not automatically make you an authority on acting. Show me proof then of your credentials have you acted before or at least majored in it? Again an opinion is an opinion.

I DON'T agree that she's substandard you're just hating on her too much. But hell an opinion is an opinion.

Agree other viewers/readers will like it I think because of the emotion that it gives. But my poor heart can't handle the novel ending. I did finished the drama though and for me I'll choose s the happy ending where they got married.

I tried rewatching this drama a few times because of the leads, but I just can’t finish it. It makes me sleepy for some reason—maybe because the leads talk so slowly, or something else.

Goodness, I didn’t realize the ending of the novel was so tragic until I googled it.

In all fairness the second male lead is good looking.
