Very true Bii!! Gosh this is why I love being here. It’s so appreciable that everyone here know the true essence of the drama which is basically these complex characters. These layers in characters is what making this cliche story so beautiful.
Pat in ep 5 was so goddamnn conflicted!! It was amazing to watch.I can write pages on it seriously. Another scene which mesmerised me was ep6 beach scene and the bet scene. I still remember people callin it a filler episode but to me it was one of the important episode in the series. I can really write long pages on that beach scene!! There were so many layers of both Pat and Pran coming out in each dialogue in that scene wow. Their hearts were so conflicted atp yet they had such peaceful conversation watching the waves damnn Okay I think I went off topic again. Oh well I’m off now to watch ep 6 lolol

If we actually think about all the times the angst has peaked in the series, it was only because of patpran themselves and nothing external (like jealous exes, crazy exes)
The first time was when Pat couldn’t handle Pran singing their song with someone else, that was peak angst right there and we got the rooftop scene. The next time the drama peaked when they had their first major fight about Pat’s ig posts and then we got the xylophone scene. When for the first time there was an external factor, Wai force outing them, the series just moved forward without any big confrontations. Ik Pat got shot and everything else happened but we did not get a heart wrenching rooftop scene or a xylophone scene cause this problem was not between patpran. While we expected this forced outing to be one of the biggest plot in the series, it wasn’t cause this story is about patpran and their small sphere as you rightly said. And the angst only peaks when they are having problems between them.
Basically it all comes down to patpran, them against the world and them finding solutions to their problems together. I really hope that this trend continues and that they do fight together against their families. Cause they’re more stronger together and separation or breakup track would really not make any sense for patpran rn after they’ve built such beautiful relationship.
