Omg!! This comment?? You just put out my exact thoughts. 'bc pran never plan to start any relationship with him' -- This line just said everything. Pran had said 'Is is not better to not start something at all if we know how it's gonna end?' And he was just living by it. Saying Pran did nothing would really not be fair cause why would he? When he knew Pat's the constant reason for his heartache. And when he knew there was no future for them. It's just normal behaviour to get away from things which cause us pain.
If we go back and look at all the times when Pat always went out of his way to help him, Pran did not really want that tbh. He was trying really hard to just get away from him for his sanity. But Pat being the oblivious (cute) puppy he is thought of it as helping out a friend, cheering him up. Those were the real weak moments for Pran and he just gave in cause how much can his heart possibly take. In the end, all he could do was to get away from him. To lessen his pain. But Pran was def hurting from it too. He did not want to give Pat hard time considering the all the things this boy helps him out with. Esp when Pat said 'Are you always being this hard with your other friends too'. And the entire ep 6 where Pat was so ready to put up a fight with entire arch faculty and was trying so hard to get Pran to talk to him. It did hurt Pran to see that this boy is willing to do so much for him. And everything changed when Pat said he does not like Ink anymore. That was when he could finally have some hope for their future together. Same reason why he accepted the bet.
We all know how much Pran always goes out of his way to help out Wai and his other friends. The bus stop, the play, all he's ever done is clean up his friend's mess all through out the series. If he is willing to do so much for his friends then Pat is his only love, the only thing he ever wanted all his life. Ofc he would be willing to do anything for him now. It just took some time for him to reach this position and to come out of his comfort zone.
