How gorgeous is Evan Lin? Those eyes that aren't supposed to be able to see anything are absolutely piercing. This drama is the first one I've given all tens to. The acting is phenomenal, the storyline is enthralling; my heart was aching and leaping for joy every single episode. And is that actually Evan Lin's voice? Because if so I need to hear more of it. The music is obviously outstanding in this drama. The struggle to overcome insecurities and fall in love in the first place, and then the struggle to hold on to that love, followed by the struggle to reclaim the love; it all hit close to home for me.

Richards is really shaping up to be one of my favorite young actors. I've seen him in a few dramas recently and he really gives his all to each type of character. he plays. This drama had a complete cast who were all able to play each perspective age range well. This one was very similar to A Love So Beautiful but with enough difference that it didn't feel like a copy. I usually prefer more romance in my dramas but I really appreciated the time this one took to grow the relationship between our leads. There's quite a bit of humor that keeps this one entertaining throughout.

Vin Zhang and Zheng He HuiZi had 48 episodes of angst, will they won't they, corporate espionage, and serious family issues. It has a beautiful cast playing hotel staff and guests who keep getting pulled into solving mysteries and conundrums. Amnesia plays a big role in different characters development throughout the series. Love gets found, lost, and even turned into a very unhealthy obsession at one point. There are some episodes that drag a bit, but all in all it's a drama I can recommend. Watch out for volume issues though if you watch it on YouTube.

If you watched the first one or two episodes and gave up, i can't blame you. However, i do suggest picking it back up and to keep going. The first two episodes are rough in writing and graphics. But after that the series becomes EPIC. I'm assuming more money and different producers came into play because by the end of season one i was fully enveloped and after season two I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for July 19th so i can watch season 3.

Nothing says "my manager made me do this" more than an idol BL with no intimate scenes. There is exactly one kiss in this entire eight episode series and it's very lacking in any sort of passion at all (truly, I don't think they even really kissed, but instead used camera angles to pretend). The storyline kind of goes all over the place, but I will give it points for Zuho actually getting to perform a song during an episode. And while our leads do have acting ability the rest of the cast really fell flat. This siries simply did not do it for me at all.

Better but still not best

While I do appreciate the fact that the writers and directors knew that the series itself was lacking and attempted to make up for it with this one off; it was still slightly lacking some important elements. It was nice to see an actual complete problem they worked through all the way to the resolution, and Ping's acting skills definitely improved between the series and the short film. However Porsche and Arm are still the only other couple that we see in front of us. While we know Ton and Chol are "together", Chol never actually makes an appearance. The music didn't draw me in or putt me off, it was simply forgettable. That being said, it was a defined improvement, so I don't feel as though I wasted my time watching it.

This is a slower paced movie, but not in the sense that it drags. I wanted to watch this after I fell in love with Nam Joo Hyuk in Bride of Habaek. I'm not 100% sure I made the right choice doing so, but at the same time it was a film that kept me wondering what was coming next. I will say I'm very confused at the ending. I was crying, but I'm not entirely sure why or what actually happened. I think I liked it, but I probably won't watch it again. Honestly I've seen worse movies, but I've also definitely seen better

I didn't expect much from this series going in. I was just binging anything with Park Seo-joon in it. I was surprised to find such a complete cast. Seo-joon's role is a complex character with so much depth and yet pales in comparison to Ji Sung's role. I've seen D.I.D. series done before, but never as well developed as this series. Ji Sung really does deliver 5 completely different roles and does it flawlessly (yes, there are supposedly 7, but only 5 really stood out). I definitely watch kdramas for the incredibly attractive men, but I'll give credit where credit is due. Hwang Jung-eum was spot on in her delivery. I watched this 8 years after it's release and was still blown away by the OST and production quality.

I see a lot of negative reviews on this drama, and honestly I can understand why. The plot is lacking, the music is only ok, and the acting is sub par. Still, I love having Dori to look at through the whole thing. Honestly, you could put him in anything and if watch it. The rest of the cast, however, does nothing for me. In true form, this is a short series and easy to get through. Although, for this particular story, a longer series would have been beneficial. The intensity of the love story is too rushed and not believable.

OhmFluke and BounPrem absolutely make this drama for me. I watched it two years ago, but with Between Us coming out next month, I decided to watch it again as a refresher. If you haven't seen it yet, be prepared to tear up starting in the first episode. Cooheart plays such a complex character beautifully. And I usually don't care for the female support roles they put in BL series, but I adore Samantha in almost every role she plays. She's one of the most talented Thai actress I've come across. You will go through every emotion in this series, happy, sad, angry, hopeful, heartbreak, and you may even fall in love. 🥰

Because there are so many dramas out there, there are very few that I take the time to watch more than once. And I have now seen this drama three times. I absolutely love when they bring historical and modern together in such a complete way. I adore the fantasy aspect as well as the true-to-life aspect of relationships and what can go right and what can go wrong in them. This cast is phenomenal, visuals are stunning, and the soundtrack rounds it out for a perfect series. I am truly looking forward to more from this production and writing team.

I appreciate the fact that this adaptation has fewer episodes than the Mandarin version, and I absolutely love Lee Min-Ho in everything I see him in. Kim Hyun Joong is the cutest version of this character I’ve seen yet, and that’s both a good and bad thing. The thing that upsets me about this version is how much time they spend on the relationship development between Jan-di and Ji-hoo. Don’t even pretend you weren’t hardcore shipping them too, because we all were. There was so much more of their relationship than the relationship between Jan-di and Joon Pyo, even knowing the outcome ahead of time, you are almost shocked that they are the ones who get to live happily ever after. I do however, love the fact that they made Koo Hye-sun look so average, which is the way that character is supposed to be represented. Each of the other adaptations has had her too cute for people to seriously not understand why she’s the girl they all fall for.

This version might be my favorite even over the new Thailand version. Although in typical Chinese drama fashion, there are a LOT of episodes, it’s really well done. I appreciate the fact that they took the things that made me mad about the Korean version and altered them to flow better and keep you from getting too bitter. For example, the relationship between Shancai and Lei is much better in this one. The Korean adaptation actually made me really upset that they didn’t end up together with as much time as they spend developing a real, deep and meaningful relationship between them. This one focused much more on Shancai and Si and the obstacles they went through instead. I also appreciated the “other woman” being an ally for the Shancai and Si rather than a long lasting menace. And let’s not forget this case is adorable. I hadn’t seen Caesar Wu in anything other than The General’s Lady, so I’m very happy I get Netflix so I could watch him in this one. The one thing I had a hard time with is that Shen Yue is so adorable it’s hard to believe them when they call her average or can’t understand why the guys like her. This is definitely re-watchable, though admittedly, the second time around I did skip several episodes and focused on my favorites.

I was impressed. I can usually figure out the bad guy pretty quickly in crime dramas. This one had my attention and had me making incorrect guesses right up until the end. The script was well done, the directing was fresh, the acting was on par, and the soundtrack was very fitting. This was actually a great series from start to finish. It’s hard to do a crime drama well within a limited number of episodes, and then to add the BL aspect to it and keep it from being cheesy was really impressive. I love MaxTul’s chemistry anyway, and will watch them in just about anything. I don’t know how re-watchable this one is because it’s kind of like other crime dramas, once you know “who done it”, you know. However, if you re-watch it just for the romance aspect, you would probably still be ok.

I am less impressed with Still 2gether than I was with the original series. Season 2 feels a really forced many times, and we are supposed to believe a couple who never once says “I love you” is so madly in love they both are depressed when they are apart for two weeks. I’m ok with an innocent relationship that is still trying to figure itself out, but that’s not exactly what the script implies. There is the “let’s shower together” and the infamous “kiss you till you drop” with no actual intimacy until the very last after credit scene. The other couples in the series had more contact than our lead couple which was just odd and confusing to me. At least Bright and Win are both attractive so they are still fun to watch, but the storyline definitely didn’t wrap things up as neatly as they were obviously going for. And I’m still really confused as to why their characters weren’t reversed. We finally really get to hear Win sing and play guitar at the end of the series, and he’s REALLY good. Like, way better than Bright (not knocking Bright, just being real). Would I re-watch this one? Probably not, but that’s just me.
