I don't mind sa in a show because it is fiction, I don't mind it being portrayed either. In kp I don't see any romanticization (even in the book they clearly state it's wrong). Those guys are mafia for them committing crimes is like buying bread, in their world killing, raping is as the same level since they have different morals etc I'll say that in real life people tend to draw the line to sa and rape because sometimes people think that in some situations murder can be justified, but never sa. Other people says that sa is worse because it's like murdering the soul of the victim while letting the victim live. Also, I think it's just human nature to be more outraged at some acts. For example people sometimes can understand murder but will draw the line to a parent killing their child. Sometimes even criminals themselves draw the line to pedophilia and sa. It doesn't always makes sense, but I think some people reason with their personal feelings/experience. It is definitely food for the mind and a complex subject. As a law student I tend to think that every crimes should not be treated the same way. Some acts depending on the situation are worse than others. That is why there are different punishment for different crimes. However, fiction is fiction. And kp is doing a good job portraying a complex and toxic story. Like I already said it's okay to feel uncomfortable watching the show but no need to disrespect people like us who enjoy it!
