I think this index shows popularity or hype of the drama..But its not necessary that it exactly translates into views..Theres diff bw popularity and its actual result...PS..its my opinion as I have observed in chinese dramas..so i might be wrong

If it is an S+ drama then it is expected to be anticipated...I+ billion views are after 16 to 20 release( i may be wrong about No of.episodes)...so i do not consider it as good result..BTW,, many sites on weibo are saying so..PS..I may be wrong

As far as I know,, Youku platform never has eng sub titles for any of it dramas on its platform like tencent has wetv...All it has a Youtube channel which provides eng sub though

Though TBW did well but not something like over the top as Expected from an S+ huge costume drama...It would have been better if they had released it in June

To be honest A dream of splendor is not that hit views wise as the hype it is given..so there is nothing like competition. Secondly,, they want to air it in july and that time will be more competitive But this is the most ancticipated drama as shown in different websites...So,, if content is good theres nothing to worry about
